houston is the favorite now in my eyes obviously, but golden state and denver currently lead in the "race" for #9, with the hornets making a charge straight from the top.

who you got???????

Houston without Yao really hurts them... as much as I would hate to see Houston drop out, it looks like this isn't their year. Too many injuries... Denver is playing very inconsistent and were probably the ones to fall out as they didnt make a move to get ron artest which they should have (dont know what George Karl is thinking)... but Houston might have bailed them out with the injuries...

No way New Orleans is going to be out of the playoff picture, you can smell great playoffs moments with Chris Paul and Peja, no doubt. I just cant wait for the playoffs to start, it's going to be crazy.....

I'd go with Houston or maybe GS as lottery teams this year.

Denver is not a lock especially the way they are playing and pathetic defense. They have a tough schedule and I see the Rockets stay alive and making the playoffs. So I say Denver without question.

But then McGrady would be knocked out of the first round again

That's always entertaining

Houston,

they must be kicking themsleves for giving up Wells now, they have count it, ONE scoring option now on their entire rostor.

I would not be surprised to see McGrady go down either because of the extra pressure on him.

You will all begin to respect the greatness of Shane Battier when he is dropping 20 10 5 now that his team needs the real leader to step up.

I just want TMac to get to the playoffs and succeed so all the haters turn into lovers and i can sit back and laugh.

Plus if he leads Houston to the 2nd round then maybe they won't trade him, and I won't have toworry about Idiot Tranny Lover trading our top 5 pick once again.

wasn't Mutumbo dropping crazy stats last year when Yao was out?

Shane Battier is the most underrated player in the league, and will prove why when leading Houston to the playoffs. He has been waiting his whole life for this moment, and just been waiting to finally represent Duke and Coach K.

N.O. lost to Houston, San Antonio & Washington. 3 playoff teams. Stop over-reacting. They could lose the next 2 to Phoenix and Utah and still should not be any over-reacting because there next 5 are a rematch with Washington, the Knicks, Hawks, Nets adn Yao-less Rockets.

after that stretch JES12 mentioned, we have SA, LAL, and then @ DET. plus we have CHI, HOU, BOS, and a six game road trip of IND, CLE, BOS, TOR, ORL, and MIA.

in april the tough games are GS, UTA, @ LAL, and @ DAL, with gimmes at home vs. NY and LAC and @ MIN and SAC

i think it's possible we miss out if our frontcourt underperforms. West and Chandler need to step it up.
