I was just checking out some stats on 82games.com, and I noticed Eddy Curry has a 0.0 passing rating for the entire season

absolutely disgusting..

anybody got some disgusting stats for this year, or any other year?(large sample sizes though, no small stretches)..

Calderon is #2 among all NBA point-guards in Three point % (#1 before allstar break)

Hes playing amazing basketball. He gets snubbed for allstar game. Then two people get injured and he gets snubbed twice more for the replacement spot.

Thats a disgusting stat for you! :banghead:

Nash shoots a hair better from the 3, but Calderon is having an amazing year for sure.

It really doesn't matter his percentages when he takes such a little amount of shots. I mean, he doesn't even average 2 free throw attempts per game, so woohoo about his free throw percentage...

And then you throw in that he is a terrible defender, he just doesn't look like an all-star.

Calderon could up his ppg easily if he shot more. Hes shooting 56% from the field on a healthy number of attempts. But hes as "pass first" as pg's come. Very Stockton-like in his decision making. He'll only shoot if you aren't respecting his shot or cheating on screens or if he gets a pass in rhythm. Stockton was 13 ppg and he was a 10 time allstar. Scoring is not what you want in heaps from your pg position.

Don't even compare Calderon to Stockton, thats an insult to a legend. First of all, Stockton's teams were winners, they would have won it all twice if a guy named Michael Jordan wasn't around.

Stockton was also a terrific defender, and averaged like 5 more assists then Calderon does.

I agree Calderon is a good player, but you are way overrating him by saying he got snubbed for the allstar game. Who was he going to go over? Billups? Hamilton? Not a chance.

Learn to read before you make an ass out of yourself. See that part I underlined? I said they are similar in decision making. I never said they were the same in talent or skills. I merely pointed out the stockton example for the guy who claimed that 12.8 ppg is not good enough for allstar game. Wasnt saying that calderon is anywhere as good as stockton, but rather simply pointing out that for a pointguard, low scoring numbers are not that big a deal compared to the other stats as evident by stocktons 13ppg career average but legendary status because of his other stats.

LOL... Calderon is very good... If he continues to improve (i definitely think he will) he will be an all star next year most likely... He mainly needs to improve his defense... It may be hard for him to make it though as he will probably still be splitting time with a healthy Ford

I'm not making an a$$ our of myself and obviously your just overrating you players. Calderon isn't even close to Stockton in decision making, or any other aspect of his game. 12 points was good enough for him because Stockton brought so much more to the game that Calderon doesn't. So what I'm saying is, Calderon doesn't bring enough to the table to be considered an allstar. He is just a very good role player/starter.

Heres an interesting stat Eddy Curry eats more Hamburgers on a daily basis than the amount of times he gets back on Defense. So its pretty much a 1:0 ratio at least everyday

Just for the record how can the raptors have 2 all stars and have the record that they do? It doesn't add up. Don't say their supporting cast is bad because all season long Raptors have brought up about how deep of a team they are.
