Would a Celtics Lakers Finals series be the Most Exciting Finals this decade?

yes. but not as exciting as the 2002 and 2006 WCF

Yep.
Lakers vs Celtics
Kobe, Gasol, Odom, and Bynum vs KG, Pierce, Allen, and Cassell
Even Farmar vs Rondo would be mildly interesting.
I hope it happens, and if it does, I'll be pulling for L.A.

Yes they would because when the 3-peat Lakers played in the Finals, everyone knew that they would either sweep the East or beat them 4-1.
The Spurs era was good and all but they're one of the most boring teams, especially last year'.
This would be the first time in a decade when two teams are exciting and nearly evenly matched.

hype wise, no doubt. basketball wise? who knows. lakers have get to play a game with bynum and gasol and both times they played the celtics they got destroyed.

It probably would be..those storylines above are horrible though..Rondo vs. Farmar? LOL nobody outside of LA and Boston that isn't a hardcore fan knows who either guy is..
it's exciting, simply for the Boston and LA history..Boston isn't an exciting team to watch for casual fans, so that isn't the main reason..it's the history between the 2 teams and the size of their markets..

good for the NBA. but I'm tired of the same effin' teams winning.
I want to see an orlando, or toronto, or phoenix, or new orleans..
.
just anyone but the spurs, pistons, lakers, celtics, bulls. who have all dominated the last 20 years.

I see how you left out Houston on purpose there.

How could this apply to Rondo? He's the starting pg on the best team in the league. Anyone who watched one Celtic game this season (barring any where rondo was injured) knows who he is.

Hype wise, oh yeah. It's ESPN's wet dream. Only way it could be better is if Lebron was somehow involved.
Basketball wise, eh could be. Really their only competition is Spurs v Pistons, and aside from the standard 'This is boring OMG!1!' that series got, it's first four games were blowouts.
Rather see Pistons v Lakers, yes I am biased as hell, funny thing if those two played, you could make the case their rivalry has been far superior over the last 20 years.

Boston and Detroit in the ECF should be good. I think the Conference Finals and Finals matchups should be good this year. I'm just hoping its PHX, Dallas, and LA out of the west and Detroit and Boston out of the East. I just can't stand to see the Cavs and Spurs playing in the last 2 rounds of the season.

I can't stand the Cavs period. Lebron is amazing but even he can't help how boring the Cavs are.
Every playoff series in the West is going to be amazing while I think only a Det/Bos/Cle series will be good in the East. I want to see the two monsters(Lebron and Dwight) duke it out too.

Cavs Lakers Finals would be a good match-up...assuming the Cavs mesh well. Kobe vs LeBron would be talked about forever.
