I would rather they shut down all the Wade commercials and have him just play basketball - you know, his career.

Shawn Marion, traded from Phoenix to Miami less than one month ago, is questioning his new teammates' desire, according to the Palm Beach Post.

His frustration was made evident after the team's loss to the Lakers on TNT this past Thursday.

"We've got a national TV game. You're telling me you can't get pumped up and come out with fire? That's frustrating. We've got dig deeper," said Marion
.

besides marion no one else is bringing it, he needs to get healthy
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Tanking at its finest. Although I have no problem with this seeing as Wade does have some injuries piling up/not healed completely.

Just shut him down and get a top 4 pick (at worst it will be 4)

No because Wade will get fat like Darius Miles.

they're tanking, Marion is the only one playing with fire. Wade isn't the player the media thought he was.

Why not? He has nothing to lose.

Well, that is the smart thing to do. They already are the worst team in the league with him in the lineup without him they just make sure worst record is theirs.

And imagine how happy Marion will be! Finally, the number 1 option on a team! Enjoy the losses Shawn!!!

You have to shut him down if you want a shot at being competitive next season. Let his injuries heal over a stretch of games that are completely worthless. Does Riles really want a player who played injured all season, to then go into the summer and play in the Olympics, and have limited time and energy to get ready for next season?

I think not.

wade is about 80% healthy. i dont think they need him to give 150% everynight on a sore knee and a sore shoulder. its just bad for the future. suns shut down amare even during nashs mvp season so i dont see why shutting down wade would be so crazy if the guys injured.

As much as the fans want him to shut it down, HE will NOT. :-?

Dwyane Wade wrote:Heat guard Dwyane Wade says he is not inclined to accept an offer from coach Pat Riley to end his season prematurely due to ongoing complications from last May's knee surgery.

"Right now," Wade said, "my job is to come out here every day and lead my team."

Wade's never called out any of his teammates or coaches, has never asked to be traded, has never questioned any moves, and has yet to complain about anything this franchise has done. -- He's already gone on record and said he understands what's currently going on; rebuilding. And, he'll abide by it as long as the team/franchise shows progress.

Riley has a way of getting into players, and I hope he does convince Wade to shut it down, because it's just a lost cause at the moment.....

You basically have to shut down Wade at this point. The way Kobe toyed with Wade when they last played he ended up breaking more than just Wade's ankles...

right...

Anyway, there's no point for Wade to be playing right now. The team is way out of the playoff race, and they need him to be 100% for next season.

Yeah, Bryant embarrassed Wade pretty good the other night. Guess what goes around comes around, Wade seemed pretty smug when the Heat were the top dogs and the Lakers were garbage.
