Since there are 3 teams, and he is clearly a top 3 guard in the West, then yes.

3 teams, 6 guard spots.

I see it going:

Paul, Nash, Billups
Bryant, AI, Manu

With Wade, Deron, BDiddy, Parker, Tmac, and Roy being other deserving candidates (Tmac could be a SF).

The really interesting question is who will make the 1st team.

Kobe and KG are locks, but then then the race is wide open. I would have said Yao, but for obvious reasons he is out of contention.

Guards could be Manu, Paul, Deron Williams, T-Mac, Ray Allen, Nash.

Forwards could be Lebron, Boozer, Dirk, Amare, Pierce.

And at Center we have either Duncan or Dwight.

If I had to pick, it would be

Kobe
T-Mac (If he can keep the Rockets afloat with Yao out.)
Lebron
KG
Duncan

I'm guessing it'll go:

1st
Kobe
Ginobili
Lebron
KG
Duncan

2nd
Paul
Deron
Melo
Dirk
Howard

3rd
Billups
T Mac
Pierce
Boozer
Amare

I'd have it this way:

1st Team
Tim Duncan
Kevin Garnett
LeBron James
Kobe Bryant
Chris Paul

2nd Team
Dwight Howard
Dirk Nowitzki
Paul Pierce
Manu Ginobilli
Steve Nash

3rd Team
Amare Stoudamire
Carlos Boozer
Tracy McGrady
Deron Williams
Chauncey Billups (seriously considered Brandon Roy here instead, but Detroit needs a representative)

Short of the Suns having a complete collapse, yes, Nash will make All-NBA.

I currently have him rated as the #3 guard in the league behind Kobe and Paul, and quite a bit ahead of Billups at #4. So I expect him to make 2nd team.

C - Howard
F - Duncan
F - James
G - Kobe
G - Paul

C - Amare
F - Garnett
F - Dirk
G - Ginobili
G - McGrady

C - Camby
F - Boozer
F - Pierce
G - Williams
G - Nash

Remember guys, Duncan is a PF, and it's pretty much up to KG vs Duncan, and I say Duncan has been better than KG.

I think Gasol would make a good case for C if Bynum wasn't replacing him soon at the center spot.

I don't believe the gloom and doom notion of the Suns as of late but if they don't make the playoffs heads will roll.

Definitely not first team, but second or third...sure.

They are definitely dropping like flies, so they need to get on top of their game if they don't want to miss the playoffs. They are on the road tonight, playing at Portland. This can easily go either way. Even though Portland has struggled big time of late, they are 22-8 at home, so this can easily be another loss for the Suns. They have a 4 game advantage over Denver, but in the west anything can happen.

Paul/Billups/Nash
Bryant/Iverson/Williams*
James/Anthony/Pierce
Garnett/Nowitzki/Bosh
Howard/Duncan**/Stoudemire***
*Not a SG, but All-NBA teams are comprised of two guards, two forwards, and a center.
**Listed as a F-C.
***Played the majority of the season as the team's starting C.

The next best shooting guard would be Manu Ginobili, who did not make the all-star team. Brandon Roy did, though. The next best center would be Pau Gasol (but, then again, he's a PF when Bynum is healthy) or Yao (who will only have played 55 games).

Some finaggling will have to be done in order to avoid snubbing players like Bosh and Pierce.

You have got to be the biggest homer I have ever seen.

The best player on a probable 52 win team with stats of 20.9/10.8/4.1/2.7 stl/.483/.356/.875 will make First team over the second best player on a probable 56 win team with stats of 20.6/5.0/4.6/1.6 stl/.457/.416/.838.

The win projections are Hollinger's.

If you want to bring up PER, then I can bring up Amare's, and then by those standards he should be on first team.

What the hell are you talking about? How is Lebron not a lock for All-NBA first team? IMO Chris Paul and Dwight Howard are also locks for the All-NBA team, but really how can you say Lebron is not a lock for the first team.

Here is how I think it will go:

First Team
C - Dwight Howard
F - Kevin Garnett
F - Lebron James
G - Kobe Bryant
G - Chris Paul

Second Team
C - Yao Ming
F - Tim Duncan
F - Carlos Boozer
G - Allen Iverson
G - Steve Nash

Third team
C - Amare Stoudemire
F - Dirk Nowitzki
F - Paul Pierce
G - Manu Ginobli
G - Jason Kidd

Its really a crazy season considering that guys like Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Chauncey Billups, Tracy McGrady, Caron Butler, Baron Davis, Pau Gasol, Deron Williams, Dwyane Wade (his team is sucking but I dont think its cause of him and he's still having a good season) would all be left off. But I don't see how the guys I listed aren't deserving.

Yao is missing 1/3 of the season, you can't put him over Dwight or Amare. Come on guys, you can't have an NBA 1st-team without Timmy. I think the first team is a no-brainer. After that it gets really tricky. Nash, Iverson, D Will are all pretty even in my eyes. Pretty much can break the tie with team record. It's really, really tough not having Carmelo or Bosh on here somewhere but I couldn't figure out who to bump off. Crazy how many good players are in this league right now. Hell Kidd put up all of those triple doubles and there's no way I can put him on the list.

because apparently being one of the worst defenders out of all starting PGs makes you worthy of all-nba.

Nash will get 2nd or third team even though he doesn't deserve it and didn't deserve MVP. He is Colt Brennan at Hawaii, sure he is accurate and has a nice pass, but it is the system.
