Team with 2 all stars not making playoffs?

There is a lot of talk lately of the Denver Nuggets not making the playoffs. The Nuggets just had 2 players in the All Star game...and everyone said that they were snubbed on their third one, Marcus Camby. So my question is has there ever been a team with 2 All Stars not even make the playoffs?

Also, just for speculation, assuming Camby did make the All Star game like most thought he should, has there ever been a team with 3 All Star Game Players that didn't make the playoffs?

I can't think of any either, and I'll be shocked if the Nugget's dont make the playoff's, there playing bad now, but there is just to much talent on that team for them not to make it in. And if they don't make it I would think head's are going to roll in Denver this summer!

In 2005-2006 the Rockets missed the playoffs and both Yao and Mcgrady were all-stars. Both players were injured throughout the season that year, and the team suffered injuries from top to bottom though, unlike Denver who is fully healthy (unless Chucky Atkins is the answer?).

I don't think I've ever heard of a team with 3 all-stars missing the playoffs though.

Houston had 2 in 05-06, McGrady and Yao, ended up 34-48

The year before LeBron and Ilguaskas got the Cavs a 42-40 record, but not the playoffs. I sincerely doubt you'll see 3 as well.

McGrady and Yao were both on the bench for the majority of that season.

the nets might do it this year too. they had kidd for 3/4 of the season and carter, and are still under .500. they have been playing better lately though.

I'm talking about All-Stars during the season that the team didn't make the playoffs. So Yao and T-mac is a good example but they were injury plagued. Denver's All-Star's have been healthy for the entire year if I'm not mistaken. One excuse they have is that some role players have been injured.

Other crazy thing is that if you include Allstars from the last two years and you look at the bottom half of the West playoff spots, 3 of the 4 have at least two All-Stars on their team, if not 3.

Dallas with Howard, Dirk, Kidd.
Phnx with Shaq, Nash, Amare.
H-town with Yao & Tmac.
Gdubs have Baron.

Add Denver to that, and you figure one of those teams is not going to make it. Two All Stars and still missing the playoffs is pretty crazy. Tmac is flying solo right now but Htown has been looking pretty good without Yao lately.
