I think that is a very solid pick... I would also nominate Caron Butler.

tayshaun prince.

ginobli isn't underrated. all those hard fouls he gets from players means they take him very seriously.

west is in the all star game this year. so, his reign is over.

also, jamison of the wizards. his shooting percentage is iffy for a pf. he has such awkward moves, but it works for him and his team. its hard to defend him when he moves like he does.

How are you underrated if you've made an All Star team? Caron is a multiple all star as is Ginobli (I think). West is rated just fine, as is Jamison.

True underrated players I think include Deron Williams (no all star, but will whoop on your starting PG), Chris Paul (even though he made an all star team, guy is just pure money and he'll probably never be a household name playing in NO)

difficult to pick just a few..

-Josh Childress..I just like his game, always have..
-Emeka Okafor..considering the "bust" label some on this forum have unfairly given him, and considering that he doesn't touch the ball enough so he gets overshadowed by chuckers on his team..
-Joe Smith..been a while..
-DeSagana Diop..part of the Kidd trade nobody talks about..the most important piece that the Mavs lost IMO..
-Andris Biedrins..I feel he is underrated, because he is overshadowed by the guys he plays with, even though Baron and those guys deserve the credit they receive..
-Rafer Alston..he has stepped his game up this season IMO and he's an underrated part of the Rockets this year..still comes up with some questionable shots, but he's been better this year than in any year past IMO..
-Jeff Foster..always an underrated player considering his strengths and the way he plays..
-Mike Miller..been a while..
-Theo Ratliff, Rashad McCants, Ryan Gomes..difficult for the Minnesota players to get any hype, considering they play in Minnesota(Rat is gone now though)..
-Vince Carter..simply for the hate he has received this season..idiots claiming "he's done"..he has been playing absolutely great since he's had to take a bigger role with Kidd out..watch some games before you judge..all the talent is still there, it's just a matter of the on/off switch..
-Andre Miller..always..
-Joel Pryzbilla..great backup C for Portland when Oden comes back..look at the Blazers defensive stats when he's on/off the court..
-Ime Udoka..you'll all know who he is next year or the year after, no doubt about that IMO..
-Nick Collison..like his game..
-Brendan Haywood..I don't have to say anything about him, Wizards fans are always making a good case for him on this forum..

Gerald Wallace of the Bobcats. He makes a positive impact on both ends consistently and no one matches his effort. If he played for a better team he'd probably be considered on par with Tayshaun Prince, another slightly less underrated guy. Anyone who has been in a fantasy league knows about Wallace's solid stats, but when you watch him play you see he manages all that within the flow of the game. He's the kind of guy you don't run plays for but he ends up getting 15/8 with three steals and a block. I'm honestly worried one of the contenders is going to scoop him up in a one-sided trade from us next season, it's obvious his D and hustle would help any team.
