The guy averaged 16/4/4 I mean there had to be someone better than that right?
In fact I was surprised to see this year was his best season with 20 ppg most of his other seasons being 15 PPG seasons.

I'll use the Pop approach: because he's Manu Ginobili..

who cares.......not important.
he made it, you can't do anything about it. probably because of the spurs record.

1) He played short minutes
2) He was probly the 2nd best player on a team with a very good record
3) He's a good player.....

He made it because the All-Star selections are generally about rewarding good teams, which is why the whole Pistons team made it one year.
Which is not to say he wasn't an outstanding player, it's just not why he was picked; the coaches don't examine production per minute and efficiency, PER and +- ratings and the like.

Why did Rasheed make it this year?

Manu made it for the same reason 12 Pistons players made it a couple of years ago. Team wins.

Because all stars are supposed to be not just about stats.

I think i'm going to organize a Bruce Bowens vote for next year, he really deserves one all-star game for his career.
and Camby, I don't think Camby has ever been an all-star.

We aren't going to have a thread on "how come X made it to the ASG, but Y didn't"
Sorry.
