ESPN just showed that Melo leads the league in number of traveling calls with 22.
Since when did ESPN start measuring irrelevant stats?

Probably got the data from the Elias Sports Bureau, which does all kinds of inanely specific stat-tracking.

They actually track won tip balls... I useless stats if there ever was one. I am more than sure that Elias provided that stat about Melo.

It's true. Melo travels all the time. I laugh when people talk about his "great footwork."

is this stat how many times a player travels or how many times a player has been called for travelling?

^^^
i really doubt they'd go back over footage to count travels that were no-calls

Who is second? Cause Giricek must have had 15 in 20 games playing with the Jazz.

No way. Bargnani has to be first here. Every game he has the ball at the three point arc, thinks to shoot, then decides to drive and he travels somehow each time.

That is Giricek's signature move. He has taking travelling to a whole new level. Melo may lead the league in travelling calls, but I bet Giri leads the league in travelling calls/48 min.
