Is T-mac a MVP candidate

If he leads Houston to a 50 win season and playoff birth? He should at least have an outside shot, since he's returned he's been playing out of this world.

No, I don't think so. LeBron and Kobe are too good. There is also Chris Paul and Kevin Garnett. There are just too many players, there's no possible way T-Mac could get MVP.

He should be a candidate but he won't get and he shouldn't.
If he gets us to 50 wins and the playoffs he should get some recognition for that.

They were already 37-20 with Yao, so going 13-12 is barely over .500. It's good, but it's not MVP'sh. Besides if they only get 50 wins they'll miss the playoffs.
