underrated. And will be a future allstar if he leads his team to a winning record next season..

I heard he has a bad attitude and gives up at times, which rubs me the wrong way. Other than that, I like that he is a triple-double threat on the court at all times, and plays defense.

He'd be the ideal 2nd option. A team with Igoudala as the main guy could only hope to be a first round exit. While a good player he doesnt have ''it'' to thrive as the go to guy...

I liked him as an allrounder and wing defender at Arizona and Philly in his rookie season. As THE guy or the 2nd option? Not so much. Neither his skills nor his attitude.

I will like him again, if he'd be beyond his "prime" on a winning team as a 4th option.

Would be a great 3rd option on a championship team, but have the mentality that he is a franchise player.

I love him, became an instant favorite of mine in his rookie year... not sure he's done getting better. Not a franchise player, but an all-star caliber player and future all-star. Should make the two all-nba teams somewhere. Quality #2 player.

Tremendous athlete just not an elite caliber player who can carry a team on his back ... basically a more athletic Scottie Pippen, give him his Batman and he's good to go.

I love him

I often hear people comparing himt o Pippen, I never know why

Iggy is a much better athlete
Pippen was a much better basketball player.

Iggy is one of those players that will always frustate, he has all the tools but can not seem to put it all together.

he will play 8-12 seasons and be a major contirbutor for most of them. I agree that he is not a number 1 option, but he is a good number 2 or 3 on a contedning team in my opinion

3 rd option role player on a good team. A bad player for the 76ers to try to build around because he isn't close to a franchise player or all-star.

overall great player

hes better fit as a 2nd option because hes not a dominant scorer yet even though he has the skill set to be.

i think the pippen comparisons are fair. Why he may not be the same exact player as pippen i think his style could bring similar results with a star player ATM. Though I still see him as a future number 1 option/ Franchise player.

I don't see how on Earth he's a role player...

I see Iggy as a guy, as mentioned, who's a third option on a good team in terms of scoring but probably second on the team in assists. His all-around game makes him able to complement pretty much any other kind of player. This is especially important because if he's, let's say, the third-best player on a team, it really doesn't matter which two positions the better guys play. He doesn't need a PG to set him up because he can initiate some offence and he doesn't need a centre to cover for him because his man-on defence is good. I wouldn't give him the max but I'd have no problem giving him $60M/6yrs.

I'm not sure what the Sixers should do about him. They should've moved Miller a long time ago though because I like the idea of Iggy/Sammy on a team with Michael Beasley and there's no way that team's getting him now.

Well, Pippen was a good scorer, great passer, great rebounder, and amazing defender.

Iggy is a level or two below him in every regard but has a similar mix of skills.

As far as athleticism, I think you are severely underating Pippen there. He was one of the quickest, smoothest athletes I've ever seen. He could stay in front of point guards, get the steal, sprint down court with the ball and cram it from a couple of feet inside the ft line.

I like Iggy, he could work on a few things but he seems to be a well-rounded competitor. I wouldn't max him unless I knew I had a better scorer that I could lock up.

Well I don't think you build around him, but PHIL should try to keep him and under 15 mil a year if they can.

He's a driver a playmaker that can defend the opposing team's best player. He has a decent mid range shot and a respectable 3. But he's also built to last. I've never seen him take a hit and look like it bothered him to much and that's a plus because that means he'll probuly be able to survie as a driver for the next 6 years without injury promblems.

He can really match with a perimeter oriented offensive star. Someone like Nowitzki or the multiple SF/SGs that do that sort of thing.

I don't know what they're going to do though in the draft or in free agency to get a player that would help AI2 the most. They'd probuly benefit from Chase Budinger droping or something. Honestly they should be tanking or re-sign Andre Miller in the off season.

He plays a Pippen role now.

Obviously isnt close to the polishness of Pippen's basketball game nor know-how. But he plays "similarly".

More athletic than Pippen obvious reasons.

He is one of my faves too.

He needs to find his "batman" as someone pointed out. I envision him a lot with a player like Brand Roy and them two would be a good example of 2x Robin = 1.5x Batman, its a rare result or potential result.

Roy has a very polished game, relies more on basketball know how and skills than athletic ability. Good all rounder. Brilliant leader (already). Then you have Iguadala who contributes all around too, but relies more on athletic ability, can change his game to all out defense in a game and make an impact etc.

I really like them to somehow cross path as team mates one day, then you throw in the perfect 3rd super complimentary player, maybe a Marion type.

A perfect example of a team without a superstar 1st option but will form a potential elite team.

PG: Roy
SG: Iguadala
SF: Marion
PF: Varejao
C: Bogut

Funny thats my 2K8 team :-)

Would make the Hornets legit, legit, legit contenders if he was starting at the 2 or 3.

Well, yes Paul (another fave of mine) could use a run partner along with Chandler.

But it'll probably take a Chandler to get a player like Iggy to play next to Paul.... doesnt make them elite...
