50-win team not in the playoffs

Will there be a team this year that wins 50 games but fails to make the playoffs?

nope. as the western teams continue to play each other instead of beating up on eastern teams, the records of the elite teams /lower seed / lottery teams will start to separate a bit more.

Nuggets are on pace to win 49.7 (50) but i doubt it happens.
