I was rather confused until i saw the link. i was thinking that they meant without jumping or something.

I don't get what the article is trying to say. he is 7 feet, why can't he touch the rim?? Is this referring to his injury??

I thought they meant without jumping, but then I read this:

"I always said that if I'm warmed up enough, and I can get a running start from the other end of the court and don't have to worry about dribbling or anything, I can get rim no problem."


I knew it was a joke after that. Funny article though.
