WC Record's Against Other WC Playoff Teams

Here are the Western Conference Record's against other Western Conference playoff teams.
As of March 10th:
Jazz: 12-7
Lakers: 10-9
Hornets: 11-9
Mavericks: 10-9
Spurs: 9-10
Warriors: 8-8
Rockets: 9-10
Suns: 6-14

It doesn't mean nothing since all the shuffleing.
For instance,
Mavericks: 10-9
Breakdown by starting PG:
With Harris 9-3
With Barea 1-0
With Terry 0-1
With Kidd 0-5

We will find out how much it means after the playoffs.
Also goes to show all the laker fans bagging our trade because we were #1 in the west before the trade, #1 in the west by losing to all the teams below us does not equate to good odds in the playoffs.

thats impressive from the Jazz...but then again theyre complete opposites when the play at home compared to how they play on the road.
Considering theyll most likely be w/o homecourt from the 1st round and throughout the playoffs, it doesnt bode well with them. Same with Dallas.

The team that finished with the best record against WC playoff teams has made it to the WC Finals at least 5 yrs in a row (IM Still Researching Prior Years). Last year the Utah Jazz had a 16-10 record and that was the best in the WC just beating out Dallas at 15-11 and they made the WC finals. I think the percentage of this happening is incredibly high and when your a gambling man you go with percentages.

Youre Right. The Utah Jazz are only 3-6 on the road against WC Playoff teams. Im not even sure the Jazz will end up with the best record against WC Playoff teams. There is still a chance the Jazz don't make the playoffs and there is a chance that a team like Phoenix could drop out and that will change all the teams records againts the playoff teams. I would not at all be surprised to see Houston, Lakers, or Spurs pass the Jazz in this stat. Utah has a lot of games against the WC Playoff teams on the road left. I used this stat the last couple years to win quite a bit of money. Im just saying it has been a pretty reliable stat to use.

The problem with the Jazz is that they were playing to the level of their competition on the road, and showed lack of heart. In their 5 game winning streak, they have showed much heart at home and on the road.
The Jazz will breeze by the first round regardless of homecourt, which they'll likely have, but if they play the Lakers or Spurs in the 2nd, then that's going to be tough. Still, either series doesn't start until one team beats the other on the road. If Utah were to make the finals vs Detroit it would be in 5 ot 6 games, cause Utah has beat Detroit for like 8 straight games.

Demver has a much tougher schedule than Utah. Utah will make the playoffs, and make the second round, cause no 5-8 seed team has Utah's number, infact it's the complete other way around.

Pre-Playoff records against same conference top teams doesn't totally mean anything either. Look at what Miami's record against top eastern conference teams was before the playoffs started in '06. They were like 4-19 or something like that. Then they showed the world of basketball up and won the championship.

Phil Jackson says that elite teams get
40 wins before 20 losses. Now, imagine how good the Warriors would be if they had a post scoring and rebounding big man.

4- Utah
5 - SA
6 - Pho
7 - GS
8 - Dal
Potentially, the 5-8 seeds can all win. That would be a hoot.

If Utah had home court in the first, I'd more than welcome it. Then NO or Houston would pretty welcomed 2nd round teams, considering our history vs them, but LA would still be a very tough team in the WCF.

With the scenario he laid out Jazz would play LA or Dallas in the 2nd
