What is your team's offensive strategy?

What do they use?

Bulls in the 90's used the Triangle Offense, the Jazz used the pick and roll, but what does your team use nowadays?

we run UCLA High Post Offense (through brad miller, Spencer hawes), motion offense.


no Princeton offense, no triangles offense , no flex offense.

We run the give it to RJ and let him act like hes a good 1 on 1 player who can create for his teammates offense.

Actually Toronto run the flex offense to perfection

no surprise here, because Sam Mitchell used to play with the pacers.

The Magic run the "Shoot lots of threes or dunk" offense.

I don't know if there's a name for it, but the Pistons run a half-court offense involving lots of screens to free up Rip and pick and rolls involving Chauncey and any other player. Rasheed typically picks and pops at the three line, McDyess is usually left wide open at the left elbow, and Tayshaun usually winds up in a switch with the point guard defending him. Otherwise, the team tries to find mismatches with Rasheed on the perimeter against shot-blocking centers or Chauncey, Rip, and Tayshaun inside against smaller guards.
Probably a horrible play-calling dissection, but that's what I get out of watching the Pistons play.

Usually works though.

Atlanta runs and iso with Joe where Smith and Bibby are split out to the sides on the perimeter... Joe will usually pound it for 20 seconds and then take a pull-up J or pass to Smith who's defender is sagging off of him, Smith might then launch and airball. Then we get back on D (except Childress because he's too busy standing under the opponents basket) and let the opponent shoot as soon as possible so we can come back and run that set again!

Toronto's offence runs through bosh more or less. It's pretty much, pick and roll every single set, unless something drastic happens like Bosh being on the bench. In which case, we play hot potato until someone decides to jack up a shot.

Princeton with dribble-drive motion. Also a good amount of pick and roll depending upon matchups.
