Cheapest NBA owner?
Who is the cheapest owners?
Sterling
Notorious cheapee. Consistently ignored winning and spending on players just so he could take in luxury tax revenue for other teams. Also never really made a contract offer to a player he drafted until E Brand. Has got a little bit better as we heard they reportedly offerred Kobe the max a few years ago.
Reinsdorf
Man who is semi responsible for Pippen leaving Chicago. Would not even consider paying him market value. When the Bulls were winning rings Pippen was getting paid peanuts. Made a splash on B wallace but won't pay up to his younger stars(Deng and Gordon). In fact brought in L Hughes just to lower their contract values and show them that they are expendable.
Sarver
New aged owner. Been trading draft picks for no reason other then not wanting to pay the lux tax. Well that has cost him players such as L Deng and R rondo. It also was the reason they had to trade K thomas and a draft pick away. Ironically the fool decides to go OVER the luxury tax to sign the 'Big Cheerleader'. Like the guy is still stuck in 1990. I wont go over the cap unless we get Shaq.
Bob johnson
Also a new school owner who is known as being cheap. The Bobcats have only two big contracts on their roster. In fact the only reason they got Jrich over the summer was to meet the minimum salary set by the league. Is he the black Ron Sarver or is Ron Sarver the white Bob Johnson

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

This is entirely untrue, look up how the minimum salary rule works.
In brief, if your team is under the league minimum you have to play the players additional monies to reach the threshold. It's like a reverse luxury tax, except that the league doesn't benefit from the tax, your club's players do.

And Sterling obviously.
I voted for him too. Sterling is cheap but its the clippers/#2 show. The bulls are the most profitable team in the NBA (knicks have highest revenue but not net profit) yet they are allergic to the cap. If not, Gasol would be on that team right now.
