Nice article. I hope Allen ends up with 3000+ threes. I had no idea that Hondo was the all-time leader in field goals-missed.

there seem to be a couple of flaws in the article.
1 - the same formula is used for older players who are likely to be declining as younger players who are likely to be improving.
2 - this is compounded by expecting the younger players to not play as many effective total years as the older ones
I suppose a counter to this is chance of a career altering injury derailing the younger player before he reaches the older players age.

I think Lebron could be Scoring leader. I know he's going to slow down in terms of scoring when he's in his early thirties, but at the pace he is going, he'd be the all-time leader by 36.
