If you have visited the Bucks board the last couple of weeks you have seen that we have been planning a paper bag protest. Well last night against the C's we did it, and if I do say so my self it was a big success. We even made the associated press pictures. Here is the thread discussing the aftermath, and some pics for your viewing pleasure. The first pic is the AP photo that was taken with Bucks owner Herb Kohl. (Blue jacket) If you are wondering what handsome guy is wearing the Patterson jersey that would be me. :)

This is a pic us marching down to Kohl's seats, and surrounding him with guys in paper bags.

Some other details I left out.

We marched around the concourse before the game, during half time, and after. We were well received and most cheered and gave us thumbs up when we walked by. As corny as this sounds we did some chants.

"I don't know what I've been told"
"Being a Bucks fan is getting old"
"Why is Redd overpaid?"
"Because he chokes late FT's"

The other main slogan was "Bucks Basketball Where AMAZING happens" The sign that I made was perfect and got tons of cheers.

After the game we found a perfect spot by the escalator. It is the most busy exit out of the BC and all them watched us chant and protest. Thousands of people saw us and it was a great time.

oops. I suppose that is important. We we were protesting against Herb Kohl and his cronies. They constantly meddle in the basketball affairs of our team, even though they know nothing about it. We have had one 50 win season since Herb Kohl has been the owner of this team.

So did you get yourself barred from the Bradley Centre then?

That and why on Earth did you get a Patterson jersey of all players?

did you make that clear in your protest, during your chants, with signs...etc?

otherwise its sort of pointless. :dontknow:

probably because it supports the team...?

unless people are able to decipher sarcasm from a sign.

We didn't get booted from the BC, but we did get kicked out from where Herb Kohl was sitting.

If you watched every one of our games last year you would know why I own an authentic Patterson jersey. He has been one of the only guys to bust his ass every game, and actually play with heart. He was actually our best player last year as sad as that sounds.

I'm not sure how clear we made it, but we certainly tried to convey that message. We had several chants that was like an announcer was introducing the team. " President of Basketball Operations Senator Herb Kohl!" *Tremendous amount of booing*

probably because it supports the team...?

unless people are able to decipher sarcasm from a sign.

Its not hard to defer that when a guy has a bag on his head.

The real point of this protest was to get casual bucks fans and the national media to realize what a joke of an organization herb kohl and his cronies are running.

When your team sucks (no offense Bucks fans), and your fans are wearing paper bags on their heads during the game, I think the situation is pretty self-explanatory.

This reminds me of when the New Orleans Saints were known as the "Aints" and their fans protested in the same manner.

Why would the Bucks fans do this? It's not like their the Suns. That would deserve a paper bag over the head.

I actually really like this idea, more fans should do this. Good luck with it!
