edit: Question. Where the Nuggets actually running plays, or just pick and rolls, and launching quick threes?

what I don't understand is that the sonics were still running during the eintire 4th quarter. you would think that they would at least try to run the clock out a little to minimize the damage, but they were putting shots up with over half the clock left on almost every possession.

The highest scorer in the game was Melo with 26
AI had 24 points and 6 assists
K-Mart had 23
Camby had 13 points 15 boards 10 assists
our bench had 74

We've been embarrassingly bad for a while. This team competed hard and pushed even the best teams to play for the full 48 earlier in the season. About two weeks before the All-Star break, pretty much everybody quit on PJ. The rotations have been sporadic, no one knows what their role is, vets were getting disgruntled and the young guys were rotting on the bench. The coaching staff managed to alienate just about every player on the roster. Still, I don't know if this is more impressive than the Rangers beating the Orioles 30-3 last season, but it's up there.

George Karl loves blowing out poor nba teams and his former teams. You're not proving much. If he wants to make a statement, blow out elite teams

However, scoring 168 points in 48 minutes, about 101 shots in 48 means so much... specially when you are off by 5 points of breaking the historic record that I think was set during the ABA time.

All valid points, quick question did anyone ask if it counted for 2 wins? If not why even mention that?
Did you know if you shoot behind that line that looks like an arc it counts for 3?
If you don't care why are you posting in the thread? Just seems strange to me.

52 point blowout and putting 168 up? Insane. I need to watch this game.
Something I find odd is that no Nuggets really had an outstanding scoring game in terms of total points - Melo and AI were pretty average, JR Smith dropping 19 is not suprising at all, Chucky Atkins can go off every now and then, but 19 points is nothing insane, Diawara's had a few good games, 11 points isn't suprising, Klieza drops around 17 every now and then, Kenyon's 23 is nothing amazing, Camby's 13 is average, etc.
(I know most guys played less minutes than usual)
Guess that's what happens when EVERYONE has a decent-good game in the same 48 minutes. Wow.

every possession was basically a fastbreak or a secondary break.
few plays run, a lot of 3's in transition, a ridiculous amount of dunks/oops/layups through simple penetration and interior passing.
