sixers should get on power rankings somewhere, they're 15-4 with some great wins along the stretch

Everyone's forgotten about the Sixers. Everything else seems pretty right.

As bad as San Antonio has been of late, they are still the team to beat in my book.

I understand how hot Philadelphia has been, but the truth is they have the 17th best record league wide, and they are doing that in the east. They've certainly beaten very good teams of late, but top 10, not quite yet.

The Sixers being ahead of the Magic in ESPN's poll is the stupidest thing i've seen in a while. The Sixers are 1 game below .500 and the Magic are 20 above .500. And i dont wanna hear what have they done lately because the Magic have the best record in the east since the all star break with only 3 losses.

I'd wish they keep the SUNS out of the rankings.

We just want to slip into town while everyone is sleeping and burn the damn place down on the way out.

Well the Sixers are 15-4 and the Magic are 16-3 but the Sixers have a much harder schedule than the magic has had after the all-star break.

I really don't want to play the Magic in the playoffs though, I really just want to play the Cavs, Pistons or maybe Toronto.

Stein is the biggest tool. He always has been. He always will be. Why he even has a column is beyond me.

power rankings are for weeks not the season. the sixers had a better week. how is this so hard to understand?

Thats the most (Please Use More Appropriate Word) thing i've ever heard... so the celtics go 0-3 one week but the heat go 4-0 you think the heat should be higher in the power rankings than the celtics... good logic, oh and the magic were undefeated i believe last week.

there are other things that go into consideration as well like which oponents they beat, what injuries in a team occur etc. in your example if the Heat beats NO, Boston and Detroit in the same week and they get a healthy Wade and Marion back and the Celtics lose to the Heat, minny and the Sonics and KG and Pierce go down with injuries then yeah for that week the Heat would rank higher then the Celtics, but by no means would the Heat have the same or better record then the Celtics for the season. just remember that these ranking are on a week to week basis not the whole season.

ps nobody cares about the magic so yes I do rank the Heat higher than the magic every week.

I know that all ten of those teams have a better record then the cavs but they deserve to be in the top ten. We have one of the best two players in the NBA and with him we can beat almost any team in the playoffs, except maybe the spurs and lakers.
