What would be your reaction if the Utah Jazz win the championship, because they do have a great team and people hardly talk about their chances of winning a ring.

Agreed, but you will see lots of Williams >>>>Stockton
Boozer>>>Malone if they win the championship.
I can see it the next day on BSPN.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

I guess they may have improved from last season, and they're certainly a formidable team.
But I still fail to see how a team that barely beat Houston and lost to San Antonio in 5 is a championship contender.
But mostly my reaction would be, this sucks, the Spurs now have a successor for aggravating, bland boredom.

Well this is only Deron's and Boozer's 2nd real season playing together. So they're timing on the pick and roll has improved, etc. They were a young team last year with limited experience going into the post season, but I think getting a year older, a year more experienced has greatly improved them. I do though, in my opinion, think they will greatly miss Derek Fisher in the playoffs. Based on his reputation, I guarantee his locker room presence and championship pedigree played a part in their run last year.

Ehh. Like you said they have a good team. We arn't the media, and they do need to talk about Utah some more, a top PG, a top PF, great shooters, and a defensive minded AK. My reaction though? I would just get ready for this next year...
Fisher
Kobe
Ariza
Pau
Bynum
60 wins.

Obviously you don't watch the Jazz much. They are the best offensive team in the league, and they run a LOT more than the Stockton-to-Malone teams of the nineties.
Last years team was also stuck starting Derek Fisher at the shooting guard spot. Now they have Brewer and Korver and are getting 20-30 points per game from that spot. Its made a huge difference. Plus, AK47 is playing MUCH better this year than last.
I'm not saying the Jazz should be the favorites - they shouldn't - but don't sleep on them either. Against top tier teams their record is phenomenal. Its the lower tier teams that jump up and bite them because they are still quite young and haven't figured out how to bring it every night against teams they are supposed to beat.

The Jazz are a very interesting teams, they are only two games back of the lead in the Western Conference, and considering they have lost games to the likes of Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, the Clippers and Bulls this season, their record is kind of deceiving. They have the best record against the top teams in the West this year, and are the only Western Conference team to beat Boston in Boston.
They are a very good team, and considering they very rarely lose at home they will most likely push every series they are in to at least a 6 game and most likely 7 as long as they can hold serve at home.
Obviously, as a Jazz fan my life long torment from the likes of Michael Jordan could finally be put to rest. I would love to see Jerry Sloan get one chip in his life.
