According to the wiretap, sources say he would accept if the knicks offered, which they should... he didnt deny it either w/this quote
"I have not had any contact from anyone about any job, period," West told Newsday. "I have not been approached. I do not know what my response would be to any job opportunity, but I'm not out actively campaigning for anything."
can he undo isaiahs mistakes?

unless sending pau to LA was all part of a devious plot to now coax Pau to NYK for Eddy Curry and Jerome James

Ya'll guys must be blind... The Logo hell anyone can make the knicks a better team the big problem is Isiah. If you cannot control your players and their attitudes and egos then you need not be a coach. He tried to get the best athletes and has beens/never would be's instead of trying to get the best players to fit within his system... if there ever was a system

Sure he can tank a couple seasons, get a couple great picks, then convince LeBron to join the team.

1st thing he has to do is trade Nate Robinson, Eddy Curry, and Zach Randolph... Maciej Lampe would be better suited for them than those guys... oh and get rid of marbury too. and thats just who i can think of right now off the top of my head.

He could make the team far better than the one IT has created.
If by "save," you mean bringing a championship to NY, maybe eventually but not within 5 years.

If they brought back Maciej Lampe they'd win a championship!

Yeah he could, but not immediately, they dug themselves a huge hole. They couldn't say pull what the Celtics pulled in the off season.

His draft picks in Memphis were ... questionable. I'll vote "no."

No, but it's wouldn't be the same situation either - the owner of the Knicks is obviously willing to spend $$$.

^^^ That's the key. Dolan is obviously willing to shell out some big money. He should start by buying out half the team.
To the question, the answer is not right away. The Knicks need a total revamp from the coaches right down the line. Lee and Balkman are the only 2 guys I'd consider keeping. Maybe I'd keep Crawford too. The problem is that no one wants those guys. They're going to have to trade them for pennies on the dollar, buy some of them out for a ton of money (Marbury), and suck it up. They are in really bad shape. Probably worse shape then any other bad team in the entire league.

Why buy out Marbury when he is going to become a 20 mil expiring next year?

He probably could. Making the Knicks better isn't rocket science. They just need a new coach and players who want to win and play defense. West can get them those players.

^^^ You're right, I thought he had 2 or 3 left.
