Game Thread: Sunday, Mar 23

Preview:
A streak like the Toronto Raptors are on would probably remove the Denver Nuggets from playoff contention in the Western Conference. But while the Raptors are likely safe in their pursuit of a postseason berth, the Nuggets will hope to make up ground in their race when they visit Toronto on Sunday.Despite dropping six of their last seven games, the Raptors (35-34) are in sixth place in the East, maintaining at least a five-game lead over a number of teams battling for the conference

"A streak like the Toronto Raptors are on would probably remove the Denver Nuggets from playoff contention in the Western Conference."
What? Lol even better, later in the preview it says we've dropped 6 of our last 7. I never knew this streak was viewed as impressive.

its not impressive
i think the writer's pointing out that if denver lost 6 of 7, there's no way they'd get into the western playoffs.

nice interview by Popazit, what a complete jerk.
How about answering the question rather than being a smug idiot about it? Let me help, you cant shoot because your team is old and tired.

well not every NBA team can be a model franchise like the Phoenix Suns, with all of those championships..
Duncan playing terribly vs. a team he always dominates..Manu shooting bad as well..yet we're still winning..
I'm disappointed in Parker so far..he should be able to dominate everybody on the Mavs team..

terrible ending..
"great D on Duncan" isn't accurate IMO..there were about 3 possessions where he was defended well..the rest of the shots were Duncan's fault..he's shooting too many jumpers too..
same with Manu..he's shooting too many 3's.."Howard playing great D" isn't accurate neither IMO..
Parker should be dominating..Jason Terry is a scrub defensively and Kidd is too old to stay with him..
all in all, good half..only down 4 despite extremely poor shooting..

hehe, Michele Tafoya just called Pop a "pill"
Pop is a great coach, having a little personality and answering questions without acting like a jerk wouldnt make him any less of a coach. can you make sure he gets this message? I'm sure he's real concerned about impressing Seattlesun. thanks
