Who is the biggest chucker on the your team?

Post#1 » by robertjanssen007 » Mon Mar 24, 2008 5:24 am

Who's the one guy on your team that always seems to take the worst shots or doesn't know when to stop taking them? AND don't say "everyone of them" if you're a Bucks fan or something.

For the Raptors, it's tricky--since Darrick Martin doesn't get enough burn, I have to go with Carlos Delfino.

probably finley on the spurs. hes a streaky shooter, and pop gives him the green light, but when hes cold, he cant hit the broad side of a barn. but that never seems to stop him.

but i think the term "chucker" is probably going to be a bit rough on a lot of the players named in this thread. there is a big difference between players like delfino or finley, and say antoine walker. theres a difference between a streak shooter and being a guy that will literally shoot you right out of a game. id think you would want to save the term "chucker" for the latter.

Toughy. I think I'll go with Max Redd. It really was a tough decision though.

it used to be arroyo but it's probably Bogans aka I Can't Make a layup or Keyon "I'll shoot it over 4 defenders" Dooling (but he makes them mostly somehow).. now

Delfino constantly takes three pointers 27 feet away from the basket.

Jarrett Jack. He doesn't exactly chuck, but he'll throw up the nastiest shots when he should pass and throw the worst passes when he should shoot.

Sasha Vujacic.

He's a shoot always PG.

He makes around 43% though, so no complaints.

Derek Fisher.

Vujacic makes them and Farmar usually takes good shots. Kobe could probably take better shots at times but it's Kobe so you know he'll make those hard ones anyways.

difference is delfino still manages to put them down at a respectable clip (near 40%) thanks to his streaky nature. walker has been a sub 30% 3pt shooter several times in his career, but that never slowed him down.
