agreed. he wouldn't need to pass and when he did he wouldn't exactly be passing to nba type shooters. he's not getting 10 assists.

Yes he could but he could also average 50 points in the DLeague.

He could get a double double, but he's not getting 10 assists a game playing with DLeaguers.

he'd have to do it in Points/Rebounds and Steals/Blocks or something, because he wouldn't get 10 assists a game in the D-League on average...

He can average a triple double on an uptempo Nba team.

i disagree w/people saying he cant get 10 assists... the amount of attention he'll get from the defense means he could get guys WIDE open shots from most places, and dleaguers arent scrubs, most of them were D1 college prospects.. theyll make open shots

There is one thing you are failing to realize...

Could Lebron average a triple double in the Dleague? Yes. Could he do it in the NBA? Yes.

If Lebron is trying solely to go for a triple double average in either league, I'm sure he could do it. Whether or not his team would win is a different question.

Example: Lebron is playing in a game. He scores his 10 pts midway through the second quarter. He has 2 and a half more quarters to get to 10 assists. I'm sure a lot of you play video games and try to do the same thing over a season in whichever game you play.

Alot of players probably would, not just LBJ. But yeah, without a doubt.

I hate these "could" answers. LeBron "could" do a lot of things. He "could" average 10/10/10 in the NBA. Would that help the Cavs win games when a guy who can put up 30 ppg on 50% shooting is only scoring 10? No..

There are probably twenty guys that could average a triple double.

Dwight, Yao, KG, Chandler, Camby, Josh Smith, Brand, Amare and Okafor would get them with blocks.

Diddy, Deron, CP, Iverson and Kidd would probably get them with either rebounds or steals.

King Kong, Kobe, TMac, Paul Pierce would put up conventional ones as well.

And then there's Shaq, Marion, AK47, Joe Johnson, Roy, Manu, Iggy and probably Odom and Dalembert.

In 33 minutes per game, Pape Sow put up 19.7 points and 11.6 rebounds in the D-League last year. PAPE SOW.

The guys named above would put up Wilt-like numbers. And if you're wondering about steals/blocks, there are so many undersized bigs and poor handling guards that the games already have tons of turnovers. It would be easy pickings for the guys named above.

Lebron would average a triple dub, but the guys he plays with will have career lows in just about every category. ;)
