practical jokes on NBA players

do you know of any practical jokes that have been played on NBA players?

some of my favorites are:

-during the Olympics the original dream team decided to put a bowling ball in Charles barkleys locker with a band aid attached to it. they were making fun of him for making a bone headed play during one of the intense practices in which he hurt himself and ended up with stiches in the back of his head and charles covered the stiches with a band aid.

-in Andrew Bynums rookie year the Lakers vets replaced his locker room chair with a baby high chair.

-Kwame Brown grabbed some ramdom guys birthday cake outside an outdoor restaurant and tried to throw it at Ronnie Turiaf, but the cake fell out of Kwames hands and the joke ended up being on Kwame not just for the obvious reason, but also because he got sued for it).

I remember when Kobe tried to get out of a small legal problem by ratting out Shaq. That was funny.

How about earlier this year when barbosa was told he was traded to the Knicks and practically broke down before finding out it was a hoax.

this one comes from several years ago, back when danny ferry and malik rose still played for the spurs. danny was the team clown and loved to play jokes, so malik wanted to get him good. so malik put icy-hot on several towels in dannys locker. after practice, ferry heads into the locker room and proceeds to wipe off his face and bald head. hilarity then ensues.

but ferry didnt let it go at that. one day during practice, ferrys kids showed up and he took off early. when malik came out to the parking lot at the end of the day, what did he find but his brand new car (a bmw if i remember) completely covered in perfect row after perfect row of split and licked oreo cookies, from hood to trunk.

a news crew happened to be their covering some spurs story, so the whole thing got caught on camera. it was the funniest thing ever watching malik picking and flinging oreo after oreo over his shoulder as every other teammate drove past honking and laughing out their window.

when asked why do you think ferry chose oreos, malik said something along the lines of, "isnt it obvious? the struggle between the black and white."

A few years ago, Brevin Knight and several other Wizards players, trainers, and an assistant coach conspired to convince Christian Laettner that he'd been traded.

Gilbert Arenas is a great prankster. Back when I was covering the Wiz for RealGM, I witnessed one. Juan Dixon got stuck in traffic and was a few minutes late arriving to get ready for the game. Gil noticed he wasn't there yet, so he swiped Juan's uniform from his locker and stuck it in a bucket -- which he then filled with water and hid. (I came into the locker room just as Gil said to a ballboy, "Can you find me a bucket?") Juan finally found the bucket maybe an hour before game time, but because of the meetings and warm-up they're required to do, didn't have time to get it fully dried before the game.

Didn't Gilbert Arenas also stole Wilt Chamberlain's game worn jersey from his teammate's home when he was with the Warriors?
I belive Gilbert returned it to him in practice but it was cut up and stuff

I saw on TV where someone from the Celtics, I think was Paul Pierce, stole DWest's shoes and socks and wrapped them in a huge ball of duct tape before a game.
