Assuming everyone is healthy? I mean they were in the finals 2 years ago and beat San Antonio and added a 2 way Hall of Famer in Kidd.

No . . . the talent level on each team is too high this yr! What are they 0 -8 or 9 vs the top-teams since the J Kidd trade?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Dallas needs to make the playoffs first.

^^^Co-signed.
But if they get in, anyone in the West can go the distance.

Maybe, I could see anyone come out of the west if all healthy.

Forget championship, they might not even make the playoffs. Jason Kidd might have played like a hall-of-famer a few years ago, but right now he's nothing more than an overrated stat-padder that likes to ************.

We need to fix this title:
Can Dallas even *make the playoffs* this year?
That's better.

Dallas had a golden opportunity in 2006 to win their 1st NBA title, they were up 2-0, on the verge of going up 3-0; 6:30 shy of that. Yet, they let their guard down, and made some very questionable in-game decisions, and completely went away from what got them their leads in that series.
Their window has all but closed, IMO.

LeBron really wanted Kidd this year, I was relieved when Dallas traded for him. His talent level is still okay, but on the downside of his career and the price was way too high.

Don't make me laugh. Kidd was a downgrade trade. On Feb 19th, our chances of a championship in the Dirk just went from high to none.

They will not make the playoffs. Maybe next year... who knows, they may win the lottery.

I disagree with everybody that says "anybody in the West can win it"..no, not IMO..it's gonna come down to LA, San Antonio, Phoenix..with New Orleans as a darkhorse if they keep their current level in the playoffs..
