That's a pretty good selection of guys, they deserve the recognition.

Hard to vote against any of them, to be honest. All stand-up, classy guys who do a hell of a lot for their community and are always more than kind to the media (which is usually reciprocated by the media towards them).

Applies to all of them. Shane really doesn't stand out unless you see him more than the other guys. None of them are really more of a gentleman than the others.

Grant Hill? He tells Joe Dumars that he plans to stay with the Pistons, then bolts for Orlando at the last minute.

He rehabs in Orlando for 7 years while collecting a very fat paycheck, and plays the equivalent of 2 and half seasons. Then, as soon as he's finally healthy enough to play a full season, he decides that the Magic aren't good enough for him and goes chasing a ring in Phoenix.

If that reflects ethics and integrity, we might as well nominate Carlos Boozer for this award.
