Magic and it's not even close. We've given away more stars or solid players than I can count.

Boring thread. Every fan will call his own team. Even Spurs-Fans will find a point for themselves, like maybe the kidney of Sean Elliott.

single biggest reason you guys ARENT the unluckiest... thats like saying i lost 100 dollars but then a few weeks later i found 90... the answer HAS to be the clippers... just recent history... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F2B796QeFk ... and did i even mention elton brand? ... this is also after donald sterling started shelling out big bucks too ... being a clippers fan is like saying i lost 100 dollars dollars found 2 a week later on the side of the road then while crossing the street got run over by a car...

I doubt you'd find any Spurs fan that would even consider us as being unlucky after drafting gold in Manu, Parker, Duncan and winning 4 championships.

The Warriors have count less number of people

Man Arenas Jamison Webber Carter etc................

And all those draft picks we screwed up in each year after year. Not making the playoffs for 10+years

Not to mention drafting
Dumbleavy
foyle
etc.................

Pacers, one thrown cup sent them to hell

Kings, so much potential early in the decade.

Well let me see, within the last 10 years the Rockets have:
Used the infinite wisdom and round pick to draft
Rodrick Rhodes
Michael Dickerson
Bryce Drew
Mirsad Turkcan
Kenny Thomas
Jason Collier (RIP)
Richard Jefferson, Jason Collins (Both were trade for Eddie Griffin(RIP))
Brandon Armstrong
Yao Ming (The 1 exception)
Bostjan Nachbar
Luther Head
Rudy Gay (Traded with Stromile Swift for Shane Battier)
Aaron Brooks (I kinda like this one tho)

Please, name another franchise with a worse first round history than this. 8 of our 12 first rouders (I'm counting RJ and Collins as 1) are either deseaced, no-longer in the league or no longer factors in the league. The rest include Head, Nachbar (kinda), Brooks, and Yao.

Not to mention going on a 15 gfame losing streak in 01-02, missing the playoffs by 1 game in 02-03, and now having a 1st round curse in 03-04 and 04-05, practically losing the entire team in 05-06, then continuing the curse for 06-07. Now this year our miraculous 22 game win streak is the only thing that has kept our heads above water, because we don't have our 1 good draft pick for the remainder of the year. Oh, and Jeff Van Gundy was also our coach for like 3 years.

The only other team that can compete with us, IMO, is the Knicks. But they live in New York, so that means they have the Yankees, Mets, and Rangers to fall back on, so I don't wanna hear it. Who do we have, the Dynamo?

Yeah that is true. Think about where they would be as a team had that cup lander 2 feet to the right.
