...sex change ?

Let's say Ron Artest decides he feels more like a woman than a man and undergoes hormone treatment and genital surgery to become a female.

Would (s)he be allowed to play in the WNBA ?

It is a weird question, I know, but I'd really like to know out of curiousity.

No to the WNBA, but yes he could still play in the NBA.

Well this is an odd topic.

I think we all feel a sufficiently uncomfortable now, thanks.

As far as the IOC goes you have to be at least 2 years post op and on the same hormone regimen as someone of the gender you switched to.

Considering how horrible the WNBA's pay scale is, he'd be better off working at Circuit City.
