wizards win three of four games vs Boston

What is it about this matchup that has made the bullets beat celtics three out of four games? even when healthy there would possibly be such a huge disparity in wins compared to boston, when caron is comparable to pierce, arenas healthy favourably to ray allen, haywood to Perkins, and Kg being better than Jamison. Obviously the wiz can win against Boston and have some similarly skilled personnel, but what are your thoughts on this regular season series, and what wiz need to do to have the same effect Boston has had through the league

Wizards have a high octane offense and Boston tries to match with the 3 superstars they have.

Washington has a big-3 that gives them trouble just like the Magic.
We might have an interesting second round matchup if those two meet up(Bos/Wash). . .

Good accomplishment, IMO it's nothing too special.
EDIT: Washington is like the Warriors against the Mavs.. They are a tough match up for Boston.

Much much better role players. Wizards are very very deep. So deep that the 2nd best scoring guard on this team (Nick Young) probably won't get to play. Stevenson is a classic 2guard whose job is to defend and shoot 3's. Haywood is playing like a top 10 center this season and he shuts down slashers. Daniels is a veteran leader who has been playing very well. Songaila struggled early on but has found his game in the past 2 months.
Then you have a couple of X-factors in Blatche and Mason. There are few big men in the league who can handle the ball, shoot, pass, block shots, and rebound like Blatche can. When he puts it together, he has amazing games. Mason has had quite a few 20 point games this season and is setting himself up for big money this offseason.

The team I'm most scared about as a Wiz fan is Orlando. Hedo and Caron always seems to even out and that boy is dangerous from deep. Haywood can check Howard but Orlando, overall, has too many shooters.

That's the only way he would stop howard in the playoffs

a lil bit ot: as of right now, ray allen's shooting percentages from the field this season are exactly his career percentages.

Why would I be sore lol? I have no reason to be....
I just find it funny that D12 has one of his worst games against the Wiz a few weeks back & all of a sudden Haywood is the D12 stopper lol

Brendan Haywood might be the next victim of the Ben Wallace effect, being called underrated so much that he becomes overrated.

I don't see him getting awards and massive media recognition.
Anyways... they just match up good vs them it appears. It is what it is...

Not only are we a good matchup for Boston. We're just an all-around underrated team, in my opinion. When your star player and current top-15 player in the NBA is injured for basically the entire season, and your next best player misses more than 20 games, you shouldn't be in the playoffs, nor should you be the 5th seed looking at possible homecourt in the 1st round -- eastern conference or not.
When healthy, we might be the 3rd best team in the Eastern Conference....faint praise, I know.

We are the third best team in the east.

If rasho/bosh can play okay against howard, haywood has a very good chance.
besides howard's offence is not the biggest problem when facing orlando anyway.

Do people forget that the Wizards had the best record at the All-star break last year and haven't been remotely healthy since?
I don't get the whole "they match up with Boston" thing when they have good records against all the East (and a decent amount of the West's) top teams.

I don't agree with that. I think you guys are 4th at best. Cleveland is still a better team IMO.
