D-Leaguers will probably win 8 out of 10 times. There are some quality euro-league teams out there so you have to respect the fact that they can get hot and beat the D-Leaguers...

A good Euro league team would trounce a bad D-League team. Most people don't even bother to watch the D-League, I guess you could come back and say I haven't seen that much of Euro league play, but the D-League isn't a joke of a league like the CBA was.

The D-Leaguers would beat any European team just like the USA national team has been beating European teams all these years, because you know, Europeans are soft and stuff.

Team USA didn't even send their best players last time... To be fair they should probably just send Kobe and 4 d-leaguers, or maybe Kobe and Smush. The two of them should be more than enough...

A Decent Euroleague team would easily beat every D-League team. It's funny how you guys can continue to underestimate european basketball after all those disasters. Teams like CSKA, Panathinaikos etc. would **** on teams like Minnesota, Miami, Bucks, Clips etc.

D-League, easily, provided it was a team that had good stability and chemistry behind it. Those are the two factors that have allowed foreign teams to upset Team U.S.A. in the past several years.
Even our D-League guys are far more talented than their All-Stars, so if we send a team that's not only more talented (as any D-League team is), but also has stability and chemistry working for them, we'd trounce the Euro's rather handedly.
Folks, we're talking about a league in which Anthony Parker, Saraunas Jasikievicius, Maceo Baston and Charlie Bell were considered superstars. Don't buy into the Euro-hype - their league's a joke.

Saying they would beat a d-league team is one thing, but this is just silly.

^That's the thing Americans don't understand. It's not about stars, it's about teams: being a good team, team basketball-team offense, team defense. Did you guys forget how Greece beat USA? They played the old pick and roll whole game and USA team couldn't find an answer to it. Basketball is not that hard if you truly know it's fundamentals. You can always beat a team with 10 superstars with a disciplined team with decent athletes.
BTW Jasikevicius is a better baller than half of the NBA PG's, it's a shame that Nba coaches didn't use him.

Really? Then why did David Stern called of the Nba team vs Euro team games in the next Euro trip?

so true. can't wait for a game nba all-stars/euroleague all best players. would be an entertaining game, or a nba champion/euroleague winner would be better.

6 of top 10 scorers, 5 of top 10 rebounders and 5 of top 10 passers are americans, and they are considered NBDL level talent or NBA scrub at best.
As mentioned before NBDL team would probably win 8 of 10 times with euro team getting hot to win couple.

It's not about having the best players, It's not about individual stats. You guys are still missing the points.

Yeah, basketball isn't about having great players. Thats why average players working as a team win championships and not superstars...
