The Kings controls the 1st seed of the West

The Kings last 2 games are:
Spurs @ Kings
Kings @ Lakers
If the Kings manage to beat the Spurs on Monday and the Lakers beat the Spurs on Sunday. The Lakers could (or will) clinch the 1st seed.
But if the Kings lose to the Spurs. (And win the Lakers on Sunday) The Spurs could (or will) clinch the 1st seed.
Or the Kings could lose both games.
Either way, it will be interesting indeed. Knowing that the Kings will play all out no matter who is the opponent.

Lakers thank the Kings for tonights assist.
so if the Spurs win the 1st seed in the west then Ginobili for MVP?

Both NO and HOU are still in the hunt for 1st seed.

I would say that the Spurs and Lakers control more who will be the number 1 seed more so than the Kings.

Yeah, you can say that. Especially, tomorrow's game (Laker/Spurs). If the Lakers beat the Spurs tomorrow and the Kings beat the Spurs on Monday (Spurs are at the end of a back to back) The Kings just handed the Lakers the 1st seed crown IMO.
But if the Spurs win tomorrow and the Kings game on Monday. The Spurs basically clinched the 1st seed.
There is alot of scenarios regardless. But either way, the Kings (Spoiler role) does come to effect. A big one IMO.

Didn't you make this exact same thread about a week ago? Nobody gives a ****.....they'll get smashed by both of them and it'll make no difference either way.

LOL..aww you Kings fans striving for some sort of recognition in the playoff picture. I agree with Rasho....the Lakers and Spurs control their own destiny. Lakers can beat the Kings any time they want. All SA has to do is flip that proverbial switch a few days earlier and rock the Kings.

People still underrate the Kings. True, we are out of the playoffs but we are the team that upsets MANY elite teams in both conferences... We have beaten EVERY elite team except the Celtics/Suns. We are not consider pushovers or "easy" win.
We beaten elite teams without some of our starting lineup. Today's game we beat the Hornets w/o Kevin Martin/Brad Miller. We beaten the Nuggets in the Pepsi Center w/o Ron Artest/ Beno Udrih/Brad Miller and etc...
I cant still believe that people still write off the Kings like we are some bad team or a bottom feeder of the league or something...Which we are not.

The Kings don't control anything. They're a mediocre team who the Lakers and Spurs should blow out. They control their own playoff positioning. The Kings don't matter this year. I'm sorry but its true.

Well, lets see about that. We always play good against the Spurs and the Lakers. Except the last Lakers game (We just ran out of gas due to the the Nuggets game) Either way, we are playing good basketball lately...
Anything can possible, I guess...

Wait till next year. You'll have all the recognition in that picture that you need.

Yeah, assuming that the Kings are healthy and better, we could snag that 7/8 seed in the West...

Everybody bashing the Kings
They are a pretty good team, I'd say Washington-Philly level in east.. too bad they are in the killer West.
