I just watched the interview. I don't think I've ever seen any person more disingenuous than Bennett. What's more, he threw the other owners of the team under the bus by saying they never wanted the team in Seattle, in the first place.

Anyway, I'm surprised that only Allen and Cuban voted "no." Kudos to them, but what's the incentive for other owners to vote for the move?

I'm a little disappointed that Cuban and Allen are the only two owners with balls. :nonono:

We should have a minute of silence, for the great loss in Seattle. NBA and its corruption ring is unbelievable.

NBA is a business, and businesses like to maximize profits. Sad but true sometimes, in this case it's tragic for the Sonic fans in Seattle.

I am unbelievably disappointed that only two owners said no.... It is a sad day in the NBA today.

What a bad day for the NBA.

It's not a done deal yet, as there is still that court case.

Yeah, but it exposes the gutlessness of NBA owners. You would think, amidst three pending court cases and a preponderance of evidence that suggests, at the very least, something worth investigating, that there would be more owners whose conscious would be troubled by voting yes. But, apparently not.

I'm not surprised only two voters voted no, just a little disappointed. Sad day indeed. Business or no you hate to see it happen.

btw to those that watched the press conference, was I the only one that wanted to punch that reporter from OKC? It just seemed kind of wrong to have him in the same room with the press from Seattle.

Bennett is a lying dbag, I think that much is clear. Seattle is a great city and it's a bummer they'll be gone.

BUT What owner in their right mind would move from Seattle to Oklahoma?!?

If David Stern had any common sense, he would have delayed the vote until after the court case.

Maybe they vote on this around the time of the NBA Draft.

P.S. - Basically there's only two owners who give a **** in the NBA.

When Bennett was asked about his "Man possessed" comment in his email, Bennett says he was talking about being a man possessed to keep the team in Seattle.

What a joke.

Oh man what a liar. E-mails were going back and forth between the owners about moving to Oklahoma. He says he was talking about the Sonics. Seriously his press conference was 99% lies. They're going to have a lot of fun in court.
