not 100% about Jackson being the right guy for the job...but, if he's better, it's an upgrade...

Isiah is staying with the team though, which is pathetic. Guy is teflon.

Hire Jackson! At least until that magical, wonderful 2010 draft.

His press conference should be gold.

A pile of dirty laundry would be a upgrade over Isiah.

Not a surprise at all... was only a matter of time before he was done as GM/President and coach
But, he'll stay around with the Knicks as advisor to Walsh - long live Isiah!

it stinks that Isiah is still with the team, bet you if he wrote a book on how to suck at your job and not get fired ... it would be the best selling book in history.
Walsh also like Wilson Chandler, hopefully he tells the new Knicks coach to start the kid next year because seriously ... can Chandler be anymore worse than Ared Effries or Q-Brick??

Hiring marc jackson....i wonder how he will do because if he crashes and burns that would be awful.....Its always a risk when a former player comes to coach that team.

I've heard from stories from local Jazz writers that Mark Jackson is a locker room cancer himself. He split up the Jazz when they had their young team with Deshawn Stevenson and Stock and Malone were still hanging in there.
Could be crap. Could actually be worse then Isiah.

Isiah must have some serious dirt on Dolan. If the Knicks ever wanna turn things around they need to wipe Isiah from the organization completely.

I expect him to remain with the team in some capacity. Maybe a scout or something.
