Chris Bosh takes a shot at that idiot after he compares Bosh to Manute Bol...

"If you have respect for someone, you expect that same respect back," Bosh said yesterday. "If you're a classless person like that, I mean, I guess that shows how you are, what kind of person you really are.
"If you criticize basketball, criticize the game, criticize the team but don't do anything personal."
"If LeBron (James) wasn't doing so well, he'd probably dog him, too. If Dwight (Howard) wasn't averaging 20 and 10, he'd talk bad about him."

Bosh is a class act, the league needs more superstars like him.
And Smith already apologized on NBA fastbreak last night. He said he was only playing and that Chris is being too sensitive. What a douche.

Eh, I don't take anything Smith says seriously.

At Bosh being anything remotely similar to Manute Bol as a basketball player. Why would he even "joke" about something like that on national tv?

Stephen A.Smith is a **** joke.
A gimmick who says outrageous things just to get a reaction.
He's the black version of Skip Bayless.
But at least Skip doesn't scream obnoxiously for no reason.

Regardless, chris bosh should not let TV analyst gets under his skin, I swear chris bosh psyche-as soft as his defense.

Yeah but that's a completely different type of "bad". In a way it's worse.. because of his ignorant "mormon" comment.. But Steven A. called out a guy on national (live?) tv, and the first thing the guy even said was "I'm originally from Utah"... Yet that (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Smith still goes off and embarrasses him like that.. what a joke.
"You're not from brooklyn....brooklyn guys don't care about jerry sloan so you gave it away right there." - sounds like a freakin' 8-yr-old.

Well Bosh has already stated that he doesn't care if people criticize as long as its related to basketball. But the thing Bosh is irritated about has nothing to do with basketball and is personal.

Some of what he said was true though...
Screaming A has always been an idiot with minimal basketball knowledge, but it's not like Bosh is some tough guy, or has done anything to disprove the soft label.
Now granted I think Screaming A took it too far...

SAS deserves to keep his job just because of the annual cheese doodle video.

Bosh better prove his game on the court.

Don't understand why Steven A is hated by so many, who cares about his basketball knowledge, he's entertaining. At the end of the day, NBA Fastbreak has no bearing on the outcome of the playoffs, the only thing that matters is the highlights and what happens on the floor.

ah, the win/win situation for SAS.
If Bosh plays soft...SAS says he was right.
If Bosh plays tough...SAS says he motivated him.

Because his commentary often comes out as personal attacks that are anything but tasteful.

Man up, damn. Wish everybody would stop being so sensitive. Honestly, who gives a DAMN what some TV reporter says? At the end of the day if I'm watching TV I want to be entertained, Steven A provides that.

Stephen A. Smith is to sports 'journalism' as demolition derbies are to motorsports...entertaining only if you're watching for the pile-ups.
Quite frankly, I find it hard to derive even entertainment from SAS; his on-air character is so affected that it's like watching a really awful actor in a 'B' movie: the first few minutes might be funny, but after a while you're wincing at the misplaced effort. And like a 'B' movie, it's funny only if you're really high.

I don't really mind what any analyst says about someone. No analyst knows what the hell they are talking about until they actually play in the same conditions as the player(s) they are judging. Chris Bosh shouldn't have took it personal, SAS always does this to every player.

There is a reason people like Stephen A and Skip Bayless have jobs. They provide controversy which is entertainment for many people. Obviously you aren't one of them, might as well get Ben Stein to go over highlights. That would be awesome.
