I just don't understand on why the knicks are keeping him around. Was it him who said that he knew stuff about dolan or was it Starbury who said that about Isiah?

I just don't understand why they clean ship.
I'm a bucks fan who only reads the headlines so why I don't know the whole story

i think they are trying to embarrass him into quitting, everyone is making fun of him

1. he has no official tital
2. no one reports to him
3. he will prove "meaningful" input to walsh (lol)
4. and now hes barred from knicks players/staff

thats just messed up, but hes getting 10 mill so who cares

I heard it's because the Knicks are hoping Isiah can help them get another steal with the MLE...

They owe him like $18M still (I think). Walsh seems content to keep him on board to make him "earn" it. For all we know, he could be doing the most menial of tasks and maybe they're trying to get him to force his hand and accept a lower buyout.

Because New York realizes how bad Isiah is and does not wish any other team to be tricked into picking him up.

It could be because of the money Dolan has shelled out because of Isiah with the Larry Brown hiring then firing then the signing of Jerome James (I dont think the Jeffries signing was that bad) and the expirings for Marbury and Hardaway deal, so he doesnt want him to just walk away from a mess he created. That seems the most logical to me, hes also proven that he can find good players in the draft so maybe thats why hes there? All I know is that teams that are in the playoffs shouldnt take it for granted like I did because it absolutely sucks watching the playoffs with noone to really root for.

Now the front page says that Thomas is BANNED from contacting any Knicks players?!?!

Dolan should have done that long ago.

I think they are just keeping him around so that they can keep a muzzle on him.

I'll bet he writes quite the scathing book once he severs ties with the Knicks.

Doesn't he have a contract that the Knicks expect him to fulfill?

why would they just fire him and let him walk away from this with millions? if they are going to pay him they may aswell make him do some work to earn it, id imagine paying him to do anything would be better than just letting him walk away from this set for the rest of his life.

Bingo!

With so many Coaching Contracts they've had to eat the last few Years, I think the shareholders said enough is enough. Also, Isiah does have one good attribute and that's finding talent in the Draft. Walsh has said to ESPN in a call today that Isiah's primary role will be assisting him with scouting.

Say for eaxmple Walsh sees a Euro he likes, he obviously can't keep runnning over the globe at his age so he'll send Isiah, etc.

He's looking for other Knicks' organization females to assault, sexually.

Can they turn him into a janitor or waterboy? Since he does have a contract and everything - Zeke, the most paid ballboy in the history of NBA!
