Orlando can't even get on National TV in the playoffs!

I am really fuming at this. When i'm at home I have the package, nbatv and all those good channels. But when i'm at college the school doesn't pick up nbatv. There is no option to order it, I just don't have it. But really why does Orlando have 3 games scheudled for nbatv? That's utter crap. It's unfair to the Magic fans, and **** it's unfair too me. David Stern, the NBA, NBATV and TNT, all suck for not showing the Magic. They won 52 games. Put them on TV, it's the friggen playoffs. GOD.

More like "Toronto can't even get on National TV in the playoffs!"
Couple a mid-market team like Orlando with a no-market team (in the U.S.) like Toronto and there you have it - dump most of the NBATV games on us. Yes, Magic fans get the shaft, but not being a Boston/New York/Los Angeles market obviously plays a small factor in the decision.
Still, if we were playing anyone but Toronto, we would have one MAYBE two NBATV games. Instead, we have three.
But on another note, all of the WC playoff teams have 50 wins, so our record is a moot point in that regard.

Aside from the 1st quarter of both games, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (finish) has been more entertaining than most series that has been on national tv.
NOH vs Mavs series has been a complete joke thus far.

Haha, yep.
I can't blame the Raps, though. Obviously they don't have much of a fanbase here in the U.S., being a team from Canada.
Instead, if the NBA is going to expand the league to another country, they should be prepared for ratings drops during the playoffs, instead of essentially "punishing" the fanbases of the teams that Toronto faces.

It's a shame, because I think it'll wind up being one of, if not the most competative series this year.

It is not crap at all. TNT can only show two games per evening. They are going to pick from the markets and teams that will give them the best ratings. Orlando and Toronto don't offer that.

the casual fan doesn't want to see phili and detroit or orlando and toronto duke it out. they want to see the lakers do anything, the celtics hammer the hawks or the suns and nuggets shoot 9000 threes.
yeah, it's dumb. but the casual fan that just tunes in for the playoffs far outnumber the serious ones that have been watching all year

When I was growing up TBS had playoff games too. The NBA needs to offer these games to other networks if TNT can't show them all. There is absolutely no excuse for not having 100 percent of the playoff games on national TV. No excuse at all.
**I'm sure ESPN or ESPN2 would have been more then happy to air the game. I do blame the NBA for putting it on their station.

Just another case of the man trying to keep the Magic down...
There's zero intrigue with this series....Big men and Turkish slashers just don't generate the buzz you'd think it would...

I think you can blame this on Toronto. Sad but true. Magic will get their fill of national TV games next round.
