I know the Bulls have that tradition where whenever they are in the postseason each player wears black sneakers.

What other teams wear them or if not, what are some other traditions that certain teams do when they make the playoffs?

Boston..but I think that's an all season tradition.

IIRC the black shoes/black socks were popularized by the Michigan Wolverines Fab Five and it caught on with the NBA...or were they doing the "Playoffs blacktops" before that.

NBA needs to catch on to hockey/baseball and get the playoff beards thing going except Gooden who should be forced to shave his beard everytime his team makes the playoffs.

the bulls do it, as does houston, new jersey (sometimes, they go with the red socks/white kicks combo at home), philadelphia, orlando.

Oh, I didnt even know that was " something". I think they wear them to go best with their uni's. Didnt realize it was anything more.
