Rockets have heart...Denver doesn't

I am NOT pissed off like I usually am after a playoff loss. This team is scrappy, and energetic. The Jazz are so much more talented than us. Just look at Denver and Houston. Denver has a lot more talent but are worse as a team because they don't give 110% like the Rockets do.
The Jazz have the advantage in 4 of the 5 starting positions, yet the scoreboard doesn't reflect that.
The Rockets are built by energetic hardworking guys. Shane Battier, Carl Landry, Rafer Alston, Chuck Hayes, Luis Scola, Dikembe, and even T-Mac is trying his best playing hurt.
This team isn't a bunch of quitters, they fight back. Denver would have mailed it in in the 2nd half of Game 2 if they were about to lose 2 straight games at home like Houston did.
It's a shame we have these injuries to Alston and Yao.

It's dissapointing, but they've played more than respectable in my books. On paper, all four games could've been blowouts, but instead, they won one and fought close in the other 3.

I absolutely agree. Denver has the talent level advantage on you guys 10 fold. But if they played like you guys do they'd be the favorites in the West.
Good to see McGardy smiling in the post game show though.

at least the nuggets didn't make scapegoat thread like this. is it the nuggets fault why the rockets lose? i just don't see the connection. the suns are down 0-3 also, does that mean they don't have a heart?

Hard to appreciate the heart when we are about to lose again in the first round. Yao or not. You just don't think about this stuff until 3 weeks when everything has worn off and you gain perspective. Right now I think we can win every game. And truthfully...had we made 1 or 2 more plays in games 2 and 4 we would be up 3-1. But I guess that just playoff basketball. The ultimate 'what if'.

This thread is true. Landry is awesome and Rafer is doing great.

rockets fans hang your heads in shame. first there are constant posts about the jazz never winning a title, now this.

Rockets team has so much heart, and the great effort put into this series, even with two of their three superstars out. Now, you take Denver who is there, and is just playing with the most pathetic DUI/Knicks brawlesque effort possible and are about to get swept.
Props to the Rockets, a lot of heart.

Or Utah fans who continually take personal shots at Mcgrady.

Seriously, going after a team like the Nuggets isn't constructive man. You don't know how good the Lakers are unless you are playing them. I won't be part of anything that has us trying to feel better about our situation by citing someone with an equally or worse position.

It's a perfectly fair comparison, seeing as Anthony said: "We all quit tonight."
That's the definition of having no heart. It's a shame too, because they gave the Spurs a good fight last year, faring better than Utah did in the WCF for the most part.
Houston has come to play all four games. Props for that.

Man, I am sad. I really wanted the Rockets to win game 4. It would be really hard to win game 6 now, even if we were to win game 5.

Of course the Rockets have heart.
Denver's not a fair comparison at least, although they have underachieved for a while.
Amazing to think that the Rockets are playing the Jazz so incredibly well without Yao.
That said, we are 1-3 down, and chances are, we look toast after tonight's tough loss.

If I was a Rockets fan I would be proud of this team. Without their best player(Yao) they still avoided to getting swept and they're playing with a great intense every night.
On the other hand Denver Nuggets approach to playoffs is just pathetic and it's a disgrace to Nba.
