What's Air Jordan's rank?
I think behind Kobe/Lebron
1.Kobe
2.Lebron
3.Jordan
4.Duncan
5.KG

Are you serious? The game is almost the exact same as it was. Jordan was the greatest of all time, and theres no reason why he wouldn't be now....

I hope you're talking about 45 year old Jordan, because that's the only way any comparison would be close.

Yes. Jordan in his prime was f-ing sick.
Playoffs came around and you knew your team was screwed. LeBron has come the closest thing to Jordan so far, with Kobe a close second, IMO.

Where's that youtube video where they compare Kobe's accomplishments to Jordan's?

You do realize MJ retired only 5 years ago, right? It's not like his stats or accomplishments are massively skewed by playing in the 60s. Kobe is an amazing player, but I fail to see how he's better than Mike (or even LeBron, for that matter, if we're talking about pure, present day dominance, and not career accomplishments).

I agree with the OP, Jordan is so overrated it's not even funny. When Jordan played he played with a bunch of nonathletic white boys. The game is so much more skilled now. He would be a scrub in today's game.

There should be a law against these kinds of threads. MJ's greatness is unquestionable and anyone who calls MJ overrated should quit watching basketball.

MJ in his prime is number 1 period. He's Kobe with the proven ability to be the leader and win, he's Lebron with a consistent three and deadly fade away.
There's a reason people call him the Greatest of all time.

Hahaha, Jordan would dominate todays game just like he did then.

I think Jordan would be better in today's game then he was just what 10 years ago? The guy dominated in a era that had better big men and tougher/more physical defense. In todays era Jordan would be insane.

You can handicap Jordan any way you want, but with the clock running down and his team down one point, Jordan's a hell of a lot scarier than Kobe or Lebron.

How do you defend MJ? You touch anyone these days you get called for a foul. He would get ten points a game easily from the free throw line. He would be even better if he played today's game.

I was just about to mention this. The handcheck rule is one that is overlooked too easily by some. When Jordan played, you could literally put your hands on and push ballhandlers all over the court without consequence. If you don't believe me watch the way Derek Harper physically manhandled Kenny Smith during the NBA finals.

I don't know why half the posters on this thread are idiots with their idiotic opinions. MJ would easily rank #1.
