Here's the track that Jay-Z recorded taking shots at DeShawn Stevenson after the Wizards guard recent words about Lebron James. Stevenson said Lebron was overrated. James responded to Stevenson by claiming that Stevenson going at him was the equivalent of Soulja Boy going at Jay-Z. The latest news is that a dj at the club Love in Washington DC dropped this new Jay-Z track while Caron Butler was there with his wife. Damon Jones also was there and added more fuel to the fire, by getting on the mic and talking some trash. The Wizards are now boycotting the club, but are also down 3-1 after today's game.

Apparently Butler walked out. I wonder if Soulja Boy will respond, :o

Yeah, it's pretty dumb, but I did enjoy the line, "Can't tell the difference between a king and a pawn."

If Jay-Z does it, it's one thing, but for Damon Jones to get up there and trash Stevenson is pretty hypocritical. At least Stevenson has been starting, Damon Jones is one of the worst players in the league.

People are starting to forget we are playing for the right to either get swept or lose in 5 to Boston.

this is a stupid feud, I blame DeShawn, I want to be the only French-prefix black guy in the NBA (am I right?), Stevenson

Jay, you're a legend, BUT this was none of your business. If anything, you should be insulted that your boy LeBron got you involved. DeShawn never said jack about you so get off LeBron's nuts and mind your damn business. I still remember when Nas tore Jay-Z to shreds when they had beef back in the day.

EDIT: I do have to say though, Jay is a smart man, that's a good way to get LeBron to come to Jersey, or should I say Brooklyn. Too bad LeBron is too stupid to realize Jay is just using him to make another one of his investments more profitable. Should've went to college Bron Bron.

Agree with everything you said except the bolded part, but I don't want to derail the thread...

Typical Lebron, not tough enough to handle his own beef so he has to get someone else to handle it for him.

^He's handling the WIZ quite good by himself.

Not really... Delonte West bailed him out big time yesterday. At this point in time I guess I should pretty much resign myself to the fact that most people will never give LBJ's supporting cast the credit they rightfully deserve... :-?

This is (Please Use More Appropriate Word)
Didn't LeBron say that him replying to DeShawn would be like Jay-Z (James) replying to Soulja Boy (Stevenson)?
Isn't the real Jay-Z now replying to the so-called Soulja Boy?

And Jay has a stake with the Nets doesn't he? Probably not the smartest idea to diss NBA players then

So playing hideously terrible every other game makes them worthy of so much credit?

In games 1 and 3, the supporting cast did so terrible that you would think none of them are even NBA players.

They played very well in games 2 and 4 though. If you really want to see an example of a supporting cast "bailing out their star" go watch game 1 of Denver and L.A., or last nights Hornets and Mavs game.

In game 1 of Denver-L.A., Gasol carried the Lakers as Kobe had a terrible shooting night.

Last night, in game 4 of the Mavs-Hornets series, David West picked up the scoring load with Chris Paul struggling to score on a guy who is not 33 and who hasnt had knee surgeries.

LeBron still had great games in games 2 and 4. You get back to me when the Cavs win and LeBron has a bad game. That'll be the day the supporting cast is worthy of the recognition you think they are.
