haha I got to say it does add more fun to watching nba playoff games when trashtalking through the media occurs, but at the same time like charles barkley said "if you can't play, then you cant talk trash" on TNT. We have DeShawn Stevenson, Brendan Haywood, Damon Jones talkin trash to superstars. I'm contradicting myself, but those guys need to know that they look stupid talking trash when they arent even all-stars. I know you dont have to be an all-star to talk trash, but it looks funny having deshawn talking trash to lebron when lebron would whip on him in games.

Haywood is an idiot saying lebron needs to stop whining about being fouled and just play basketball when he laid him out the other day. Haywoods foul wasnt even a basketball play, he simply shoved him out of bounds.

What can I say....I love it and I hate it.

Brendan Haywood isn't exactly a scrub. He's one of the better centers in the league...

As for what he said to Lebron... Once again he spoke the truth. LBJ just has to shut up and suck it up.

I stopped reading after you listed Haywood as a scrub.

I agree, scrubs should stop talking trash. Also, non-scrubs.

I love these scrubs. They're just making it easy for LeBron to beat them. Keep talking trash, obviously it has worked very well for the WIZ so far.

I agree trash talking from scrubs only fuels the superstars.

I do agree that the whole thing about him complaining about the difference between a lebron foul and a regular foul. But the Wizards also need to cut out the crap, even those it does make a pretty boring series interesting.

I'm not a lebron fan...in fact i dont even like lebron james. I just think its funny that brendan haywood is talking trash to him. It does make the series very interesting for me to watch every james possession and see how deshawn gaurds him.

I do agree that stevensons foul on james wasnt a flagrant...he was going for the ball and just happened to catch james head with his forearm and james overreacted.

Horford definitely isn't a scrub, but I'm interested to see how Pierce plays tonight. Hopefully he's unable to keep a cool head. And as I'm typing this the Paul Pierce NBA Live commercial comes on. It's a sign!

Trash talk is apart of basketball. From the playground to the NBA every body does it. WTF are we talking about "scrubs" here, these are the best players in the world for the most part. They have the right to say whatever the hell they want, if they can't back it up that's their problem.

These guys don't hold Lebron up to some higher standard than themselves like some people do here. Believe it or not he's just another guy to them. You can't be scared of anybody in the NBA and continue to get a paycheck.

Horford's not a scrub

Haywood's not a scrub

Stevenson's not a scrub

They all have consistent and proven ability in the NBA for varying sustainment. Horford's continuing and progressing for the future.

I do disagree with some of the trash-talking though, being done differently or not at all.

Actually, he's talking about the talk that happens on the court, not off.

Not saying it's a good thing to tell anyone to shut up, but it's not like he's being inconsistent.

(Oh, and for the OP -- he's not a scrub. He's actually the 2nd best player, performance-wise, in the Wizards/Cavaliers series, and a very good center)

I just wish the trash-talk would be between superstars. It's a lot more entertaining when the stars talk smack, and then go at it in the game.

talking trash about another team/player through the media is crap - thats the real problem!

calling someone a scrub ain't far cuz guys like stevenson, haywood etc- none of them all stars sure, but they are having great seasons and are helping their teams.

just quit it with talking to the media saying so and so sucks. talk to them personally on the court and diss them on the court. don't talk to the media about it and don't get a rap artist involved!

also, wtf was caron bulter doing at a club during the playoffs? has anyone called him out for that?too bad he was offended by jay z rap song, but wtf! no wonder they are about to be done in 5 games!

It was a Washington Club where athletes frequent regularly. He was there with his wife. When he heard what was happening, he and his wife walked out (not wanting any part of it -- that would be a good and commendable thing).
