Just want your opinion, cause I think I might be misinterpreting something...

Does pushing a referee usually merit a suspension in the NBA?

In the middle of a heated moment in the game, the referee is restraining a player. The player aggressively pushes the referee away to get back into the middle of the situation.

Anything more than a technical foul?

Um if they're deliberately pushing the referee in an aggerssive nature. But if they're just kidding around, then I can't see a problem with it.

I'm sorry, Garnett isn't going to be suspended for game 5. Williams and Perkins might though since they did show them on the court during the scuffle. I don't think Williams was purposely on the court though, I think he was just shoved in or something cuz everyone was huddled around trying to see whats going on. But Perkins looked like he was coming on ready to fight.

Unless it's Violet Palmer, yes.

If KG and Perkins are suspended for this game, this series becomes Atlanta's to lose.

If a player even lays a finger, as in pokes a ref in the arm it warrents a suspension. Thats a line that should NEVER be crossed.

There is a link on the Atlanta board. It appears KG is pushing the ref as he was trying to hold him back during the scuffle.

No chance Stern suspends KG.

It's about 12 seconds in when the ref tries to hold him back. I honestly don't think he should be suspended, but the NBA has suspended people for lesser things before...

No. If the ref didn't throw him out at the time of physical contact, then there's nothing to it.

I doubt he'll be suspended, but being that Stern suspended Amare, there is no question he has the guts to if he thinks KG's actions warrant it.

KG probably shoud be suspended, but I doubt he will be and it wouldn't upset me if he wasn't.

Marvin and Perkins shouldn't be suspended either.

I think Perkins should just to be consistent. He clearly came way off the bench with the intention of doing something. If they can suspend Amare for last year, then they have to suspend Perkins.

i love how the announcers say zaza headbutted KG, what a crock of **** and tried to instigate something. if he doesnt go back in his face you have a million dumbasses saying he's soft

stern's been somewhat lenient this playoffs compared to the previous years and i doubt this gets a suspension whereas if it happened last year or 2 years ago him, kidd and brendan haywood (or was it blatche that fouled lebron?) all get suspensions

Perkins didn't leave the bench area. He was standing before the altercation started and only stepped forward one step. Not at all like the Amare situation last year.

I doubt KG gets suspended, he didn't so much push the ref as try to get away from the ref. Had the ref been on the other side of KG - i.e. between him and the hawks, it may have been a different situation.
