I'm picking the Spurs, but I'd say the Lakers are the favorites.

Can't tell anything about the Lakers because they haven't been tested yet.

Spurs had the toughest opponent in the first round, and routed them.

You got to go with the defending champs, they've done it before and just dominated a team in which most people said they'd lose.

The Spurs are the most overlooked and underrated dynasty of all-time.

Because everyone knows all dynasties come to an end, and no one wants to be left off the "told you so" train when it does.

a dynasty is a team that wins the majority of the championship in a particular decade. for example, the celtics in the 60s. the LAKERs were the dynasty of the 80s. the bulls of the 90s. so far, the spurs have 3 this decade. and the LAKERs have 3. so this particular decade has not been decided.

i would say however, that the spurs are in the drivers seat being the reigning champion. and have the most experience of any of the teams in the league as far as playing together and winning. however, should they win it all this year, that would still only give them 4. as i am going to guarantee after this year, the LAKERs will win and win repeatedly. they are on the cusp of taking over, but just need the experience and chemistry. meaning the LAKERs have 4 also this decade. with the other 2 going to detroit and miami.

Spurs are an odd dynasty for their inability to win back-to-backs.

well by that definition, if a team wins 2 in a decade, they are a dynasty. i would not agree.
