With no moves, drafts of equal value, keeping free agents, who has a brighter future?

Well, with NO moves, knowing their recent draft history and only keeping their current free agents, future doesn't seem too bright for any of them...

Warriors: Wright, Ellis, Biedrins, Belineli
Hawks: Smith, Williams, Johnson, Horford, Childress
Save to say that the Hawks have better youngsters overall.

Atlanta for me. Horford will grow. Smith's not the finished product, Johnson's not a star, but is a take-over type player etc.
And, they play in the East.

Yeah, hawks easily, unless Rose or Beasley manages to fall to GSW in this years draft

^^ But they did it because of Davis and Jackson, put those two on the Hawks and they're a 50 win team in the east.
The Hawks have a more complete young team.
Ellis>Johnson (in potential) I'd pick Johnson because of his size.
Smith>Wright (And I am a huge fan of Wright, but Smith is a monster)
Williams>Belineli
Horford>Biedrins
Law, Childress>no one.....
The Hawks have the best core and I think Horford will become the best player out of anyone on there.

I am biased but with a core of JJ, Horford, Smith, Marvin, Childress, and Law where they are all between 22 and 26 years old, I would take the Hawks' core. I think the vets are the biggest difference between the teams right now with Bibby for the Hawks and Baron/SJax for GS.

Depends on how long the future is. If it is more than next season, Atlanta by far as I think Baron is starting to wear down (if not wear out his welcome in GS).

Utah by far. It isn't even close.

Hawks have the potential to do more damage than the Warriors based on their conference, so they get my vote.

GSW will be the better team, but the Hawks will have the brighter future just cuz they're in the east

Conference records aside, the Hawks have more good young players, but the Warriors have the better at the top(Monta, BWright, Biedrins). Tay could really be something special if he builds on his already spectacular skillset, and Wright just oozes potential. Just wait till Nellie plays him well, if he does. However, the Hawks have all those young and talented SFs, Smith, Horford,etc who can all be really good players.

The Warriors young talent base is Monta, Wright, and Biedrins and the Hawks' talent baske is Smith, Horford, and Johnson. I don't see how you can say that the Warriors are "better at the top", what swings the needle in the Warriors favor is that Davis and Jackson are there and they aren't heading for serious declines any time soon (or they might be traded and Davis can bring in a blue chipper... possibly).

Childress= SG/SF
Marvin= SF
Smith=PF
Horford=PF/C
Why is everyone on the Hawks called a small forward?
