Where does he stand amoung the best players in the NBA?

IMO he is the most underrated player in the league. I hope this series opens up some eyes.

He had a relatively average season, he's been good in the playoffs but underrated? Def. not.

If he was on the Suns and the Suns hadn't traded Marion for Shaq... The Suns would have actually put up a fight against the Spurs.

Man I wish that Joe was still on the suns.

You can argue that he was a reach for the All-Star team (something Paul Pierce may regret pointing out).

But with the way he's raised his level of play this post-season, I have even more respect for JJ than even if he played better during the regular season.

I've always thought of JJ as a guy too passive but no longer do I think that.

He's finally attacking the rim and he's taking and making big shots in big situations.

This should do wonders for his confidence next season

I have I always thought he would be a stud. Too bad Boston traded him after half a season. He's coming back to bite them in the you know what.

He's got great ball handling skills and his passing is very good. Plus he's a really good shooter with range.

think about how good the suns would have been with him at SG instead of bell.

:o I knew he was good but he's better then i thought and Josh Smith is better then i thought. He's blocking shots like a C/Pf. ATL has a very exciting team. Much respect to the young Hawks.

OT: What happened to Bibby's shot? when he was with the Queens his jumper was money. They'll need him to be the Bibby of old to get game 7.

Impressed with his composure out there. He didn't really shoot the whole night and then proceeded to burry the big 3 to put them up 5.

Same as i've always rated him.. On the third tier of SG's.. He's comparable to guys like Redd, J-Rich. and RIP. But a notch below guys like T-Mac, Pierce Carter etc..

Why? He's nothing without Nash, Steve Nash makes his teammates better.

^ What? JJ is better without Nash.

I'm turning around on him. But not yet. He had a great game, he's having a very good series. It's just one series -- even if it's only the Celtics. It doesn't wash away years and years of leading a sub-sub-.500 team.

When he has a strong next season and post-season, I'll be a believer.

I agree he is currently rated as a third tier player. If he continues over the next few years to have the post season play that he currently is, he goes up to 2nd tier/quality all-star

^ Who else is listed as a third tier player then?

Because I can only name 2 SG/SFs in the East alone who is better at everything JJ does. LBJ and maybe Wade.
