Where has all the KG hate gone?

Sure didn't look like KG was scared to be the man and take over the game last night. He dropped the last 2 celtic baskets and looked like he had ice in his veins. The other 2 members of the big 3 shot 2 for 18 from the field combining for 4 points. I think all this non-sense about him not being clutch is unwarranted and BS.

Not that I was really ever "hating" on him, but he made some pretty poor plays down the stretch too. Certainly enough that this gloat-esque thread is a bit unwarranted.
I recall a forced brick and a shot clock violation in the final moments that didn't come back to haunt them because of LBJ's inability to convert a lay-up (both times).
So, easy now.

Ok congrats. I'd still rather have Pierce and Allen take a game winner then Garnett.
The dude isn't that clutch. Boston won that game with defense, nothing more.

Wow... And I thought I had effectively rid RealGM of the excessive KG Homerism. I guess I was wrong. I still have work to do...
It was one game. One freaking game... Even Brian Scalabrine has had a couple of clutch games in his life... That doesn't make him clutch though...

as ive said before, your a fan of the damn Nets!! where did you get to see what clutch ball looks like?? the only reason your team hasnt left its grubby little hole yet is because you sold your souls to a wifebeating point guard who nobody wanted at the time. have fun with a REAL star in Vince being numer uno for the next 5 sad years of his career

well, joe smith did guard KG. remember, they used to play on the same team for years. and they would go head to head with one another in practice. so the knowledge of opponent is there. so KG took him to the rack like he used to all day long during practices in minnesota.

I think he gets to see clutch ball when he watches Kobe.

Brian Scalabrine is the definition of clutch.

I don't know that Atlanta series was very telling of what KG's problem has been his entire career, for all his fake intensity he just doesn't want the ball with the game on the line. I'll take your word for him improving in that category in the regular season, but he's still the same old postseason KG...
Well except for the fact that he actually made it out of the first round this time.

what about him shining in the clutch when the almighy lebron got made to look a fool last night??

Its unbelievable how much people hate on him. I'm not even a celtics fan, but i just dont see why people try to deny the fact that hes not this anti-clutch player that you all make him out to be. He scored the most clutch baskets last night to tie the game, and then put them up a bucket. I'm not saying hes as clutch as Kobe but he certainly is not anti-clutch like my team's franchise player Chris Bosh. When KG played with the wolves he hit all sorts of clutch shots in the playoffs. He was the main reason the celtics won that first game, and had a CLUTCH performance.

i've personally seen him have game winning blocks, steals, rebounds - not to mention his exceptional and versatile defense where he can guard a damn point guard if he has too.
if ppl hadn't noticed, he's been great in just about every game so far in the playoffs. ppl need to start making threads about paul pierce cuz mentally - wtf? lebron ain't shane battier or bruce bowen circa 2005!
