as a NBA fan, i cant hate on him. Clearly a top-5 player(Kobe/Lebron/Duncan/Paul) but this recent stretch of flopping is starting to wear on me.

I don't lose my respect but it makes him less likable.

He is not that bad. Toronto has about 6 floppers just as bad or worse.

Am I the only one who finds it quite convenient that the OP is from OKC?

(NO-KG-AI might be the only one who gets it)

No joke really. You either get it or you don't.

Just the opposite actually. The more I watch these play-offs, the more respect I have for Chris Paul. The guy is absolutely nuts, I would kill to have him in a Blazer jersey (and if NO doesn't offer him the max deal in 09, you can bet that is just where he'll be).

About flopping. I hate it. No respect for floppers. Period. That being said, if I was in a series with Manu I would probably be so fed up with his bull**** that I'd give it a shot as well. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Secondly, about that clip from the first page, that was a foul. Anyone can see Oberto lean right into him, and when you hit a guy that size when you are as little as CP3, its like running into a brick wall at full speed. ESPECIALLY IF OBERTO LEANS IN TO IT. Also, his motions were quite exaggerated (throwing the ball up, flailing his arms, etc.) but from what it looks like to me, he wasn't trying to roll on the ground, he just started a spin, lost his footing, and ate s***. Karma, you could say.

Anyways, CP is a warrior of the highest degree, Manu is a chump, and I wish this were the WCF, because I HATE HATE HATE the Jazz almost as much as I HATE the Lakers.

quack.

Well that play in particular actually, nothing was called there. Oberto's chicken wing happened after a whistle which is why I'm guessing he embellished it more than usual.
