Looking in my crystal ball, I see that one of Los Angeles, Utah, San Antonio, New Orleans, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, and Orlando will be hoisting the trophy in June.

The only team I don't see winning it is Orlando. Not a diss on them but you can tell they are just not experienced enough. They will keep getting better so maybe in a couple of years.

I think the East comes down to a 7 game series between Boston and Detroit, as long as Billups comes back healthy. I am a Piston fan, but I still think the Pistons can play "playoff" basketball better than the Celtics.

In the West, it is seriously wide open Any of the 4 teams could be in the Finals, but I'm thinking the Lakers will do what it takes to get there.

Pistons-Lakers? Pistons in 6.

I'm gonna go with the Spurs right now. They are that good.

Pistons or Celtics could win it too, but the Celtics have a real problem playing well on the road, and the Pistons have an injury to Billups that isn't going to fully heal by the ECF.

LAL and Utah are sort of wild-cards. I think both them are one piece away from being to get it all done (Lakers' piece is Bynum who is injured).

Spurs never get back to the finals after winning it all, I say Lakers come out of the West.

I think the ECF will be Detroit and Boston in a tight battle. If Detroit can steal one in Boston (and they would need too), they can get back to the Finals.

However, we all know the NBA wants a Lakers/Celtics finals... to revive the "glory days" of the NBA. How many "playoff hero" commericals have you seen with Tim Duncan, Chauncey Billups or Chris Paul in?
